Yeah its bound to happen. As much as most of us don't like it, the guy's got proof, you can see where its going, and its just kinda obvious that this is gonna keep happening. Oh well. Upvote anyhow, not much I can do 'bout it.

Unless ref drops to a ridiculous level, that'd never happen, since keys can never be worth more than $2.49. They're already $2.40 now. If this is accepted, ref would equal $2.47, so the price could only increase further by about a scrap.

Keys in the market are 2.15 - 2.20 USD but most of the classies and outpost trades are reaching the 12.33 - 12.66 range I'll upvote

Oh and btw, rising key prices is called Logic. You can't get paid stuff (keys) with free stuff (weapons) in real life, so it may as well reflect that in TF2, and you'd better get used to it.

that is exactly what my friend said when keys hit 3.66 ref and they were "the highest they have ever been". keys are just going to keep rising as long as people start valuing the item they got for real money more and the item they got for playing a game less.

By the time this gets accepted 12 won't even be possible. Hell, I don't know if 12 is possible right now. It's quite a big range as well for keys.

We could lower the prices if people stopped paying more for them.

All these people that are bitching and moaning about how bp.tf is "ruining tf2" need to understand something. Bp.tf is not the reason why keys are going up, it's the PEOPLE that are making them go up. Bp.tf merely prices keys so high because people are willing to buy them for more than their current price ,and they use the proof to create suggestions for them to go up.

You can't expect keys to go down to 2.33 when people aren't willing to sell them for 2.33, and people are willing to buy for 12+ refined.

And if you are one of those "Make keys 2.33 refined again" people, then I'd like to see you sell keys for 2.33. I'll gladly buy them.

Yeah bp.tf is only stating the current price trend, but when people sell for even higher than those to make "profit" it makes the price of keys go up even more. And since keys will always be around 2.10-.20 metal's actual price in irl money will drop, so in reality, you are losing profit while driving the cost of keys up.

The key is $2.49 In the Mann Co. Store. 12.66 Ref would set the price at $2.20 or $2.30. If the key price keeps rising, the key will be cheaper to buy in the Mann Co. Store, also the key price will be higher than $2.49 in the Comm, Market.

How about we look for another item other then metal to use. It's so unstable now!

I'm not saying the because of the proof, but of a few of the comments I've read. Why do so many people want the tf2 economy to crash? What we need is a big metal sink that we get an item that we actually like in return for deleting some of the metal in this game. That would help the economy a lot.
