Sales:

I could only find 2 sales that were in the last year and had no killstreaks attached. 1 was a quicksale.

Reportedly, 128 exist, but with only 1 currently on the market, it appears as if they are all being kept.

Sale:

Backpack.tf and Steam API didn’t pick up very many of the seller’s transactions, making this sale a bit difficult to trace.

The seller, Never Ending War, spent most of the metal on keys.

Never Ending War spent the keys alongside other items to buy unusuals.

All of this happened before steam API could pick it up. I cannot be 100% sure of the events, but based on the backpack histories, it is the best I can come up with.
