Third time's the charm, I suppose...
After some [more] friendly advice, I'm taking another stab at pricing this 1:1 2014 Halloween unusual. I wanted to wait until the Cloud 9 Private Eye got a renewed price before I made the suggestion.
Only Sale (and only sale there's going to be until next year):
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23443328#latest (traded for a Strange Cloud 9 Private Eye, 2-2.1 [2.05], overpay [since bonzo billycock was offered] calculated to 2.2777 buds.)
Full 2-Person Item History: http://backpack.tf/item/3128882691
Yes, I have it in my inventory, and no, I'm not going to sell it. There's actually a bit of story behind this unusual (originally traded for the effect on a standard billycock but was asked to trade back), and it'll go nicely in my collection of two-person history annual Halloween unusuals.
If the billycock's offered on the Private, no overpay should be calculated. :P
Well, I thought that too, but people nit-picked my last suggestion for lacking overpay. :\
As mentioned no overpay should be calculated.
The way you calculated overpay is wrong. To help you understand overpay,
Lets say X(Bonzo the All-Gnawing bootleg base metal billycock) is traded for Z (In this case, cloud 9 private eye)
and we are trying to price X.
If X is offered on the Z, You don't need to apply overpay on Z.
If Z is offered on X , then you apply overpay on Z. So Z * 0.9
Hope this helps. (Sorry if it confuses you even more)
This is why I rarely do suggestions anymore...
