Actually, I can confirm that I did indeed offer on the Caribou.

Originally I had added to discuss his offer, but we could not work out a deal, I then came back about a week later and offered on his Caribou, as I wanted it for my sniper loadout.

Very well. That clarification was needed, however, otherwise it does appear to be baseless manipulation of a price.
