Well quick buyers pay more on any item. There are also quick sellers, who ask for more on any item. There will always be quick buyers and sellers, so really that is not a reasonable rebuttal.

they buy as many of the item as possible at a lower price to re-sell for higher, if there are quickbuyers above the current price, something is wrong

It would have to increase to the most common price, which is 6.66
