Read through the rules of price suggestion couple of times, as this is my first suggestion. The math: Buds were 14 keys on the date of purchase. (6th December)
So,
14+4=18
The unusual taunt is 18.55 keys,
18+18.55 = 36.55, which translates into 2.75 buds. No overpay was applied, the previous owner did not ask for it.
NOTE: This is 1|1 and am the only possible owner right now! I purchased this, as you can see in the images provided above. NO BIAS INTENDED, I JUST WANTED TO PRICE THE HAT!
'No overpay was applied, the previous owner did not ask for it.'
But was the tyro offered on the taunt and stuff? If the taunt was offered, then it needs overpay..putting it at 34.55 (or 2.6 buds).
Also were there any other sales before you?

Yes, and the sale is still valid.
Steak = Mars, it's his alt, as he told me. The unboxer, FZECH, which I contacted yesterday told me that his friend took it from his account while "drunk" during a party. I think that this is unbelievable and cannot be considered a sale.
According to that, that means that the guy was on 2 different computers, signed into his friends account obviously on his friends computer, otherwise he wouldn't be able to trade on the device signed into until 15 days pass. That also means that he was careless with his belongings. Also, without a screenshot of that chat, him telling you they were drunk and such, that would be considered a sale. I personally would consider it an unproven sale because he could have sold it for paypal or on the SCM
At first he told me that he sold it on paypal for around 135 dollars, if I remember correctly. THEN he told me he got scammed, in which I replied "Was it a paypal chargeback scam?", however, he then told me about the party and his friend stealing it. I am pretty sure he was trolling me. It will be hard getting a screenie of that chat, I deleted him of my friends list.
If he told you he sold it for 135 dollars, then changed his story, his word is unreliable.
I thought it that he was trolling me after he changed his story. I asked him for proof of the paypal exchange at the end, so that I could use it for my suggestion. He replied "I really don't want anything to do with it, it is just a story of my life that I wanna close the chapter of, sorry" Sound pretty trolly...
That's not the point, if he changed his story, his word is unreliable.
Yep, I asked the previous owner, he gave me an un-believable story and no proof. Also, there is no exact percentage of an overpay price, I'll try and see if I can change it to 2.6 buds. Sound good?
overpay is 90% of whatever the non-currency items are worth.
The previous owner said he is selling an unusual, I said, cool, I like it, so I wanted to buy it. I showed him all the items I am selling, and he said the keys, the bud and the taunt. Can this be considered that I offered?
to be fair that does sound like he offered his hat for your items, meaning overpay wouldn't need to be applied. however, 2.75 is too precise. you round to one decimal place because the idea that any unusual is worth such a precise amount that it's worth going to .05 of a bud about it is misleading. so this should really be 2.8
2.8? You really think so? Well, how do I change it? Do I need to call an admin? This is pretty much my first time doing something like this, and I can't find a price edit button. I think changing a price mid-vote is not possible :/
You can only resuggest. No other choice
I think I should keep this vote up instead of closing it. I have seen other people offer "flat" values on unusuals, and their vote was accepted, too. I'll take my chances here.
Well.. alrighty.
2.75 :/
What about it? If I resuggest, all my votes will be gone, and my reputation will be down, too, right? At least that is what I understood from the guide.
awkward range, also looks like you didn't apply overpay
It's not a range, it's just a single value, also, there is no overpay needed when HE offered, he picked the items from my backpack.
Pure is not to have overpay applied. You out come would be 18.5 * .9 = 16.6 keys with overpay. 16.6 + 18 = 34.65 keys / 14 = ~2.47 rounding to 2.5 buds as the price that should be suggested.
As I stated above, he offered on it, not me.
If you told him you're selling these items, and you were interested in his unusual, that means he was not getting something he wanted, and you were. You cannot determine an offerer so you need overpay.
Of course he got something he wanted, he picked the items from my inventory. He had the choice to sell his unusual for whatever he wanted.
Yes, why did he pick the items in your inventory? Because you came to him and told him to tell you what he wanted.
"What he wanted", exactly.
Ok, YOU WENT TO HIM. You were interested in his hat, by saying "tell me what you want from my inventory" is just a way of trying to avoid overpay. Also, in a case where who offered on who, you are suppose to apply overpay in the first place.
Also, if you're trying to give it a price with only 1 sale, you don't meet the criteria of pricing it with 1 sale. The hat has to be off the market(doesn't mean you can just close it, make the suggestion, wait for it to pass then re-open it) or, it has to be on the market for atleast 1 month.
Please bump!
you don't bump suggestions, it doesn't work
I'd highly recommend you round...
Thanks for the suggestion, but this does not meet our criteria of pricing off one sale.
"Any hat can be priced based on a single sale if ALL these criteria are met:
- There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months
- The hat went to a collector or person who intends to keep the hat. A collector can be identified by looking at the person's trade history, item history of similar unusuals in the backpack OR if the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred."
Definitely does not meet criteria #2 since you have it back on the market. If it remains unsold one month after your purchase, feel free to resuggest. When you do that, please round appropriately. 2.75 gives too much precision for the value on any unusual. Also, you do not lose rep when you close your own suggestion. Only if a mod closes it. So please close so that I don't have to.
