I'll say this tho- the cheapest seller on classifieds, where you can usually find some nice quick sells, is selling for 11 refined, and the cheapest on outpost AT ALL is 12 refined, most are 14 or a key. There does seem to be a serious hype going on

Every recent strange weapon that had a rise in price can be parallelled in time to Muselk's video regarding said weapon.

So to stop keys rising so much we need Muselk to provide a video saying how it is the best item in the game. Hopefully refind would then go up and keys would come down :D

It could also mean that people are investing their keys into something with a stable value other than unusuals and buds.

I have heard many people complain about he Point and Shoot hype resulting from the growing popularity of the competitive TF2 player, Muselk. Range is getting unreliable now. After this suggestion regardless of it passing or not, new range will most definitely be needed if it's going for 13 ref to a key +.

Muselk's video about the Loch-n-load being too OP. It happened with the Strange Backburner as well.

Sold a s loch n load + vintage loch n load for a spec ks strange loose cannon. I know the ks added makes it unreliable for a range but without the ks its 2 keys for the strange loose cannon. This indicates a rise as if we went by the old range for the vintage and strange loch n loads at around 5 ref at the high end, its 10 ref, nowhere near how much a s loose cannon costs.

well, your bp shows you only have 1 strange loch n load that has kills while explosive jumping on it (different from one on outpost), and it only has 3 kills meaning you got it recently, so its probably different from the one you sold. So yeah, you probably did sell it for 12 ref

Well, since this suggestion was posted, I haven't sold a single at a key. It may have been accurate at the time, but I'm not so sure it is any more. Selling for ~7-8 ref on SCM and there are loads of sellers at 9-12 ref on classies now. Probably should be priced in refined and the rise should be a bit more conservative.

for the thing regarding the scm, at this point its kinda pointless to count the scm for now as the holiday sale influences lower priced items to sell. It happens with the stranges and it happened with vintages last year too. Some like the v. gunslinger which were around 30 cents a piece dropped to under ten cents each. So the scm is kinda unreliable for now. :l

Depends on the circumstances. Often it's quite useful as supporting proof, and there have in fact been a few items priced solely on Steam Community Market sales, because they were rare items and the 15% fee was accounted for. Some suggestions have been closed because SCM prices countered it, other times it's overlooked.

There's just way too many under 1 key, as well as 1 key is not a common sale point anymore.

I think this needs a more conservative bump at the moment.

How would you feel if you had bought one at 1 key? High end is supported by many sales and sellers as well as the low end, from my point of view, suggested range is fine.

There is a whole page in classifieds under a key, and the scm price is like $1.50. When you posted this suggestion 1 key may have been the common trading point, but I think the loch balance change may have killed some of the hype for it.

I think suggested range is fine, i couldn't find a SINGLE seller below 9 ref and I've seen plenty of 1 key sellers, and solds at 1 key. I don't think the change of stats affected the hype either, as it didn't change the high damage stuff which muselk was saying is awesome

While I do agree that this range may not be the most accurate, I think it bette represents the market than the current range.

1 key is just the high end price, and with a coupla good sells at 1 key, it should stay as the high point

na. The scm is unreliable atm, regardless of whether or not the trade market has influenced it or not. People are cashing out for games and money, hence why buds have fallen, yadda yadda all that fun stuff (not really if you dont like that sort of stuff :l). But there has definitely been increase in the price of a loch n load that is strange. (vintages too!).
