Conclusion: There are no 0.05 sellers and 1 scrap sells very commonly, as well as the asking prices for it. Every trade over 1 week old is considered much too old (which is about 75% of the trades) and even 6-7 days is a bit old. 1 scrap is the common trading point.
maybe bump up all of the weapons price to 1 scrap because everybody sells at that price onless ur smarter and go buy it from scrap.tf
1. Your english is bad, so is your spelling.
2. That is very bias.
3. Are you dumb, or a troll?
1. i know not everybody has a perfect spelling even if they are english
2. how am i dumb? find a seller on tf2 outpost or anywhere who sells weapons for 0.05? everybody sells it for 1 scrap
You can't necessarily sell weapons for half a scrap. There's no possible currency for such.
Pathetic...
What?

...woah.
All of these people should have used scrap.tf instead.
shh don't tell them about scrap.tf or scrap bankers won't exist anymore
why is this going up?
Because people, jimmie. Because people.
I have heard many people complain about he Point and Shoot hype resulting from the growing popularity of the competitive TF2 player, Muselk. This could be for the same exact reason, due to this recent video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpyTK7j-3gg. This could also explain Powerjack hype, as well as Backburner hype: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpyTK7j-3gg. His Soldier video also incorporates the use of the escape plan, which also has hype, but has remained untapped as of now. Call me an idiot, but I'm calling these parallels completely triggered. The Muselk Conspiracy.
well, that video is kind of misleading. the LnL would be OP if it actually killed 125 hp classes more than 50% of the time. it always seems to fail in my time of need
That still does not disprove my point that due to HIS use of it that it is becoming popular.
Muscel K doesnt play comp <.<
People keep harassing me about that. I meant competitive as in playing in anything other than trade servers. Who even cares? My point has already been recognized as valid!
Because this is the internet, thats why.
It's going up because Muselk has said that it's an awesome weapon on one of his videos, and since then both vintage and strange lochs have been rising quickly, I think. Same with the point and shoot (Muselks hat) and some other stuff
So that's why my favourite hat is going up... I didn't even care Muselk used it really. I find it butt-ugly on the Soldier.
Well, no one sells any weapon for 0.05 on the trading market. 30 on scrap.tf bots. I don't really see this as different from another weapon.
Bots aren't valid proof though, polar. And i've shown it sells commonly at 1 scrap.
They are the most valid proof in weapon suggestions imo and as much has been indicated before in the forums. Someone asked a question about how it would be possible to lower a weapon from 0.11 ref to 0.05 ref since it's not possible to find any valid proof at 0.05 for most weapons.
You can find scrapbanker trades.
And lately, trading weapons for 1 scrap has slowed down for months now, and not nearly as common as it used to be anymore. I always see tons of failed 1 scrap buyers, but at the same time failed scrapbankers. Weapon trading has slowed down A LOT, and i've shown here that 1 scrap is very common for this weapon. You can point out any automated bot, site, trade, or whatever, but no matter the price people will always sell weapons to automated traders for 0.05 due to convenience of metal, quick trades for metal and 24/7 service. All I need to do is show that 1 scrap is very common, and I have.
TL;DR There will always be sellers and sales at 0.05 due to convenience, but there will not always be sales at 1 scrap, or at least this commonly. I've shown 1 scrap is very common.
It hasn't actually slowed down at all, the reason why you don't see as many scrap bankers is those who sell weapons for a scrap are now using trade offers or bp.tf automatic almost exclusively, removing the need to even post on a thread or add people to buy. I literally get hundreds of trade offers that get accepted by my scripts daily for basic weapons I'm selling for a scrap.
I'm having a bit of trouble understanding why a rise is necessary -- there are 31 available in scrap.tf
Most of these trades seem like generic weapon sellers, and there will always be people willing to buy random weapons for 1 scrap who are unaware of 1:1 weapon banking. Does that mean we should raise the price of every weapon that has sales at 1 scrap?
Genuinely confused here, could someone explain if my logic is wrong?
Except most sell quickly, while usually they would take more than 2 days. I don't like to use automated sites and bots as proof, as people will go there by habit whenever they need quick metal so they put up any dupe weapons to get quick scrap, 2;1. I've shown that it 1 scrap sells very commonly, and 0.05 not so much.
Because there is no currency for 0.05 ref and it's basically trading for the same exact valued item your trading for gaining you nothing. That's why only big websites, such as scrap.tf, do it to only gain donations for the people who want to get in the front of the queue.
0.05 would be random weapons nobody wants, or cares about. I've shown 1 scrap sells very commonly whereas 0.05 doesn't. I don't like to use automated trade bots, because of their convenience. When people need metal quickly, they go to bots and trade dupes of their weapons for 1 scrap per 2 weapons only because it's more convenient and are in need of quick metal. Trades for most weapons at 1 scrap has slowed down a lot, but for here it's shown as common. I consider automated trades to be invalid for this reason. I've shown 1 scrap is common, and 0.05 isn't.
This is weird and unique
Should all agree scrap.tf prices?
Ahem, "I don't like to use automated trade bots, because of their convenience. When people need metal quickly, they go to bots and trade dupes of their weapons for 1 scrap per 2 weapons only because it's more convenient and are in need of quick metal. I consider automated trades to be invalid for this reason. I've shown 1 scrap is common, and 0.05 isn't."
Never saw that one coming...
0.05-0.11 would be better imo.
I bought more to test the market again - https://www.dropbox.com/s/x3ur1wyvuonw3rf/loch2.JPG?dl=0 sold one in only a few hours at 1 scrap.
Edit: Half of my stock gone in a day.
Given how there are many in scrap.tf bots, how about 0.05 - 0.11?
Again, read above.
If this passes, you will raise the value of your backpack by $0.01.
serious If you look up almost any unique weapon, you would be able to find a bunch of solds at 1 scrap. That's how scrapbankers make their profit. Again, returning to the whole "using bots as proof", scrap.tf has an abundance amount of these at 1 weapon. If I can buy it easily for 0.05, then why should it be 0.11?
Compare this to the Sticky Jumper/Rocket Jumper and you would see the difference.
Good job not reading any of my arguements above. You're really showing commitment.
I did read them. My point was that almost every weapon sells commonly at 1 scrap. But this does not mean that every weapon should be priced at 1 scrap. The abundance of the stock on scrap.tf shows that.
No, not every weapon sells commonly at 1 scrap. It's actually quite a pain in the ass these days because nearly all the time everybody is offline, or nobody is in need of metal. Out of habit, patience, or need of metal they immediately go to automated bots for convenience to immediately get metal so they sell any extra copies of weapons they have. Scrapbanking and Selling weapons for a scrap each has nearly died and is pretty hard to do if you're on either part of the trade.
Is that an opinion, or do you have proof to support your claim?
I'll rebut another point you mentioned instead: "I've shown 1 scrap sells very commonly whereas 0.05 doesn't." How is this true? You simply did not show sales at 0.05. Okay, it's difficult to find sales at 0.05, I understand. But there are tens of Loch n Load aviliable on scrap.tf (yes, I'm mentioning it again). That is equivalent of tens of sellers, and tens of users that have sold the item to scrap.tf. Clearly, there is quantity supplied at 0.05. Scrap.tf alone shows more sellers at 0.05 than the number of sellers AND solds you have in your proof at 0.11.
Damn you Muselk... xD
Lol no. I can sell almost any weapon I have for one scrap if I wait long enough.
LOL, there is nothing strange at selling unique weapon for 1 scrap, everybody does this, no reason for bigger price.
Logically... weapon x weapon, price 0.05
Now trying to look at other sellers:
138x for 0.05 (another weapon) @ http://www.scrapwh.com/item/308/6/the-loch-n-load
many other times @ https://scrap.tf/weapons
Your proof: sellers for one scrap, because people want to profit (doesnt matter if profit 0.05 or 1 key)
solds: people just buy it here and nobody sells it for 0.05 (point for you, but just because others want to profit)
..
finale: you are probably troll, stupid or both and you want to make price bigger without reason
I don't understand why this would happen when you can just go find yourself a scrapbanking website...Downvote.
Cartman bruhhhh aproves this message!
lmao downvote. Stop trying to argue when everyone has explained their points. Don't assume you're right and the community is wrong
People selling weapons at 1 scrap is called scrapbanking.
If you raise the price at 1 scrap they will sell it for more, why? To make profit.
Weapons are sold for 1 scrap all the time why did u make a vote for that one and not the other weapons?
Don't you guys have ever heard about scrap.tf ??? I guess no
ITS JUST A WEAPON
has 1 daownwoat'''!!!111!1
srsly, why
why
WHY
and I guess the one who down voted me is you? Seriously. Take this shit along with you to the trash bin
>inb4 all butthurts dowvote me
most the wepons can be found t scrap.tf. only new to trading people will check these prices xD.
there are a few exceptions for weps like awp sd
i dont really care about this proof as millions have sold for 0.05 i know that scarp.tf is only support proof
MY POINT DOWNVOTE rocket jumper and stick jumper are a diffrent story
From your sellers list I actually see just one that sold (and it still haven't changed its owner in history):
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24200738
All the rest are just completely closed trades, with none of the items deleted, or still open trades (and none of them changed owner of the item). I don't find 10 successful sales as enough proof for increasing the price of a weapon to 1 scrap.
lolwat
Scrap bankers are horrible proof on weapons.
Other sites easily give you 2:1 on the scrap. Seriously.
There is no more on scrap.tf
Every weapon sells normally for a scrap, if you raise this, you gotta raise them all
Downvote
the only reason its rising is because of the buff. you might as well make a suggestion for new weapons when they come out to be 3 ref. It drops in a matter of a week. this suggestion is irrelevant
SW:BF3? i think its comin out 2015
Well, 80-90% of the outpost/bptf classifieds are all people selling all weapons at 0.11. Does that mean we shall raise all weapons to 0.11? Nah. Moron...
