I was about to do this to price the Flamenco XD
Actually, looking at this, the flamenco sale is possibly an outlier? :3
Not sure that you can use my flamenco sale here, it's unpriced, currently have a suggestion in at 10-11.4.
Also, missed this sale:
Tavish + Beams Doctor's Sack (2.9) + Pro Australium Blutsauger (~1) for : DarkBlaze War Pig (12)
12 - 3.9 = 8.1
http://puu.sh/dwCco/728dd35e59.png
Honestly, these sales do suggest a price drop, but when you evaluate it purely on the effect, and rarity, considering beams is asking 12, I think that these recent Moon Tavishes have gone through some very weak-willed traders who didn't hold out for full price.
I'd suggest a more accurate range of 7.5-8 or somewhere around there. I certainly didn't value the Tavish at 6.6 when I traded it for my Flamenco, not sure that sale should be used (at least at that value)
I used this to suggest the War Pig, the Flamenco uses this sale as the high end. I used the other sale in the suggestion.
So why not use the war pig sale here?
its outdated
NEW SALE
C. Moon Tavish Degroot + 1 bud for a Burning Hotrod (11.25)
11.25 - 1 = 10.25.
10.25 * 0.9 = 9.225. Rounded to 9.2 for convenience

hot rod is outdated, ill do a mini later.
Firstly, sale 2 is based on an unpriced item. True you've shown that its sold for 9.1 before but bear in mind that prices for bp.tf suggestions should be based on 2 suggestions and not one. Since you have only shown 1 sale for the flamenco, we cannot safely assume that the flamenco is worth 9.1. (Also bear in mind that the amounts that hats with newer effects have sold for have been highly unstable and varied drastically in the last several weeks.)
Secondly, I believe the current price for the CM Kabuto is 23.44–24.82 buds and not 19.5. True the kabuto was swapped for the headset, but that's only one trade example and we can't assume that now the kabuto is only worth 19.5 for all trades. You would have to reprice that hat first if you really wanted to use that as evidence. We must also take into account the fact that the person with the tavish OFFERED on the headset. Not the other way around. Most traders look for unusual overpay.
Thirdly, csgo items should be avoided when pricing tf2 items.
Merry Christmas to you too :)
1. It's a mini suggestion; backpack.tf aimed to deliver a rough guideline of value, small imperfections in value are permitted.
2. Kabuto is duped, not a clean one; furthermore, the price is outdated anyway, and would need a mini. There's no proof of any offering anywhere, and as such, it's common protocol in this situation to apply overpay, rather than not.
3. The hat has had very few sales, that being one of the two. If it was <3, I would consider it an outlier, but it was in line with the other sale, hence why I included it.
I spoke with the person who owned the Tavish that was traded for the kabuto a while ago, from what he told me it seems that the tavish and items were offered on the kabuto, does that not mean overpay should not be applied on the kabuto?
any proof of this
I'll add the guy and get some screenshots
sure, but i mean the proof of him actually offering it. ty
I will simply ask him if he offered on the Kabuto, or if the Kabuto guy offered on his items. That dictates on which end overpay should be applied. The previous seller has nothing to gain from making up anything about which was offered on what, if I go and ask him.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24222477 - offered here ~8.5-9 in value
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24183250 - burning hotrod sale
http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198107740754?time=1414911600 - sale value here is probably around 8.5
6.6 just seems really really low. I think something along the lines of 7.5-8.5 or 7.5-9 would be better here given these other sales.
