I will say this in short: If I would get an item with no value given, I could do anything with it, sell it or keep it. I couldn't really say what the item has as a value, and just throwing a price from the air isn't going to help me. I could say I would sell this "rare" item for 100$, but it wouldn't sell, because it is too high for an item like it or no one is interested. Same situation here, you can't make a price from thin air, you need sales to provide evidence.
