Alright, 1 key isn't worth $2.72. The ref price right now is 16 cents (on backpack.tf and marketplace.tf). 2.50 (the Mann Co. Store price) divided by 0.16 suggests about 15.66. I could buy one hundred keys for $250, sell them all for 17 ref (so I'd get 1700 ref total) and sell those 1700 ref for $272, earning $22. Let's close this arbitrage hole.
That's not how it works.....
And yet the price you suggest is $2.45
You can buy keys for less than $2 outside the Mann Co store.
Paypal trading is miniscule compared to refined metal trading.
Thats not how it works
Thats not how it works
why did you say that twice?
+ 1 for vocabulary,
-2 for suggestion.

I get your point, but this is not the way
Proof? no proof? poof.
No one cares. Take your ban hammer and go elsewhere.
According to your logic, scrap is worth more because I can buy trading cards with it, and sell them for 8 cents, as opposed to selling ref for 16 cents.
I think that's just getting a good deal on trading cards.
that proof man that proof
The proof is overwhelming, not sure which way to vote on this one. Oh, and thanks for this suggestion. It will help me get my + percentages up.
Most people are used to ref being like 24-25 cents. People just need to understand that it is dropping, making keys go up.
