I would post screenshots of the trade history, but I don't know how lol. The bud I had in the in my bp prior to the sale, I sold it for some keys and bought a bunch of Spec KS items. How should I post screenshots of the trade history?

The price of an item shouldnt be more than the buyouts of the ones on the market.

I have to agree with Jordan; while you managed to sell one to someone else for X price, the buyouts listed would suggest that you just managed to get lucky. Sale(s) > Buyouts; Sales (plural, not sale) being the key word in that instance.

The person who bought my hat sold his PE KE and purchased it for 4 buds because it was his dream Pyro hat. I thought that it would take ages to sell his KE, so I just put my B/O at 3.5

Plenty of sellers lower than your suggested price. In addition to your b/o being ~3.5 buds, http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24519615 , this hat should not be 4 buds flat.
