Hi. My very first suggestion, be gentle :)

Sold Collector's Rocket Jumper Chemistry set (with 189 RJ inside) to a collector. He specifically asked for unfinished product.

A gifted RJ was also traded for 26 keys pure, and i'm chasing down the seller for screenshots

I believe there may have been more sales as well, other than these. I definitely think the suggestion needs a range.

You dont really need sellers to raise a price, only to drop them, otherwise very nice first suggestion.

That leaves a problem though - would people pay more to be the first owner of that specific item?

We ran into this problem with the Collectors Harmburg ( http://backpack.tf/vote/id/546c0e85ba8d88db6a8b482e ) and this only really passed because it ended up having a supporting sale. Also, it's rarer than this, so the value set is basically just to report the sale.

I'm gonna stay neutral unless there are supporting sales (which I understand probably won't be a thing). It seems as though people would pay for the set when nearly complete so they're the first person in the history. Also, this is pretty important, as this is a rather big spike in value.

I actually agree with you, on this case (sell) the buyer wanted to be the only one in the history. The other reason why i started a suggestion is that there are no other C.RJ or chem sets, for it, to buy.

I may have rushed with this suggestion, but i also want to see how it goes.

With the sale at 3 provided above...man this one's tough, 3 seems like an outlier, but there's no valid sellers to prove so, and SCM price doesn't matter here, due to its rarity (people are going to highball their prices for rare items on SCM regardless of value)

Your sale went quick. Like, really quick. Idk if 2-3 would work, 3 seems too high and that sale is a little old... Will need a mod's word on this. But without a doubt your sale is totally valid due to proof provided above.

additionally, my sale was actually an offer on an OP trade where the user had a B/O of 30 keys, so it caps at that. forgot to mention before.

collector's RJs are very very rarely sold on any market forum. as far as i'm aware, there was only 1 sale after mine (besides the suggester's) which was sold on the SCM, from a guy who won his in a raffle, and that happened around 20 days back i believe. my sale certainly isnt fresh, but taking into account the frequency of collector's RJ sales, it's a long way from being outdated

Pricing any of the rarer collector's items is hard. It is very well put together (and a bit brave) for a first suggestion. The problem is, I am not sure if anyone would ever buy for this price again. The proof is there, but I am not sure about how the mods will decide on this.

Other trades / comments here suggest that the history doesn't have a huge impact and that 2 buds is better than the current range
