I just want to remind everyone that this is the winter crate from 2012 and is worth more due to its age and rarity.

I remember there used to be this thing where if you launch the game, they disappear from your inventory. Is this still true?

Not for retired crates, it's more for things like the most recent strangifier spam and some box thing that I can't remember the name of.
