It's perhaps a bit unconventional to call one of only TWO trades an outlier, since there's no average to deviate from, however, ostensibly the original owner had fairly little experience in unusual trading, and may well have been unable to properly guage the hat's value, leaving the second owner with leeway to make significant profit reselling.

Having said that, it's maybe evident that the current owner was prepared to overpay a lot, seeing as she payed more than the seller's B/O in pure ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23569049 ), which somewhat leaves it up for debate as to which trade is the outlier, if either of them are at all.

I consider the range too large to include both sales, and with no more coming up on the horizon, I felt it best to pick the one that reflected the value the current owner holds for it. It would seem unfair and incorrect for the TTG's price to be based on the sale of a user who perhaps could not fully tell the value of the hat, while it's owned by the collector who overpayed for it.

This suggestion in particular has some very debatable elements, and I may well have made errors of judgement somewhere down the line. Feedback will be very helpful, and much appreciated.
