well, if instead of yours previous 13.33 suggestion would be accepted that counter suggestion 13.33-13.66 we wouldnt have to change prices so often i guess.

No one (not even the guy you are replying to) said that Refine Metal is worthless.

He's just stating that its not worth buying a key for that many metals (hell, I rather use up my metals to buy hats but collecting and saving up my metals for a key? I rather use my real money, much easier and faster).

Anyways, for the suggestion, the proof is sufficient. Barely anyone to no one are selling their keys below 13.66 ref nowadays.

Sadly you dont seem to understand there are rules and a way to state an opinion here.

It is true people sellfor higher but as long there are enough users WILLING to pay those prices, its enough proof to increase the price. When no one buys or just want to sell their keys quickly to craft or such during a craft spread, thats when keys drop because everyone is quickselling them to get ref or goods to join the "hype".

You stated your fact, that people sell keys for higher; and there are others actually buying for those prices.

Problem is you "voted" based on your opinion and even when I do agree with you Keys shouldn't be too expensive, you did voted ignoring the whole "fact" that, since there are users buying for those prices, it is fair to increase it to the price people are buying them at the momment.

I'm sure no one will care because d0 made this suggestion, but I just bought 3 keys at 13.33 ref each, and at the moment there are 3 sellers at 13 ref on the classifieds.

Can someone explain to me why most of the people list their keys at higher value then the current price, and then, other people use those listings as a proof to change the price. And after that, cycle repeats

First off, the listings on backpack.tf cant be used as proof but as suppourt proof when the starting one is valid enough.

And second, its not a matter of "why people sell for higher" but to "why people buy for higher than the actual value"; when people dont buy those prices drop and when they do and there are waaay too manny sellers and buyers, it forces the prices to rise, there is demand.
