Need sales
:o Any suggestions on how to find sales? Thanks in advanced.
Look for TF2OP trades, wait for them to sell.
not trying to be a twat or anything but what if none was sold?
check every of their histories.
Just check the histories of the items on sale by clicking on them, find previous owners, and find out how much they sold (look in comments/description or in previous/next items' histories they put on sale).
Or just copy/paste the original ID of the item after the link http://backpack.tf/item/ and check the histories of bp of the owners (Just make a comparison before/after the day of the trade to find out the sale)

sold for a sulph merry ~3.9
Soo I dunno. It's true that some sellers are actually looking for 3 buds for like a month. I'm not sure you need sales to lower a price tho..
I've been wondering that too to be honest.
you dont need sales if you lower range as B/o s are what they expect( btw that merry sale isnt that obvious as something might have been added so you d better check for bp histories or ask owners. anyway merry sale would be 3,5 with overpay but even if b/o s are 3 buds only the sale shouldnt be out of range if you have no other sales, or you can mark it outlier with enough proof supporting your range
Thanks for the suggestion but we do not accept suggestions for unusuals that lowers the price of it based on b/o of current sellers alone.
With reference to the rules,
http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-new-unusual-price-suggestion-guide-the-cheat-sheet/
B/Os alone cannot be used to make an unusual suggestion. Just like we don't like to use offers as the only proof to raise the value on an item, we don't like using B/Os alone to drop the value as this has frequently caused bp.tf to lead the market with consecutive suggestions every 1-2 weeks dropping the hat (see Miami Wraith). This also creates an issue when future suggestions use those values as proof when they are still inaccurate.
Closing this.
