resuggestion
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/54bf59efb88d88ad068b4e24
not 3-4 as theres a 3bo
not 2.3-3 as theres a 4 sale 2.3 outlier
That 3 buds B/O still isn't enough xD
theres a 3 sale aswell
Therefore the range is 3-4 xD
My 4.4 (4) took 2 days xD
Thats clearly an outlier.
No it isn't, it took 2 DAYS
There are two sales lower than 3, both are closer to 3 then the 4 you have.
You can't just say thoose two are outliers, and it might have taken 2 days to sell, but funny enought the current B/O has been up for 3 days. That 4 sale was pure luck.
That's not pure luck though. Most of the sale included PURE
You know, the stuff that we price This stuff in?
The other sale involved an Unpriced Unusual which sold for a Horrendously Outdated Unusual. Go on, try to price that legitimately.
I don't give a damn.
3 sales below, and you still claim the one you have is right.
A B/O of 3 is not enough to justify that 4 is an outlier.
An unconfirmed weird-ass minisale of 2.3 doesn't confirm it's a valid sale.
There is no '3rd sale below.'
And in my suggestion, I KEPT 3 IN THE RANGE
4 is an outlier mate chill
I have 1 sale below 3
I have a 3 sale
I have a 3 BO
Older sellers had 3 as B/O too
4 will not happen at anytime again
'Luck' doesn't place into this. The fact is that it happened. Somebody was willing to pay that and ergo that should be reflected in the price.
Pricing -unusuals- using B/Os as primary evidence is a very slippery slope, where the market will change to reflect undercutting similar to that of the SCM. That is -not- what trading is primarily like and we should not imply it is.
At it's core, bp.tf is about reporting sales and nothing more. A sale at ~4 involving mostly pure should be reflected in the bp.tf value. Refer to my Frostbite VRH suggestion for more precedence on this.
Yeah but then there is 3 things that suggest under 4, why would you say it's valid?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24263460 Someone in the comments also said that there had been one up for 2.5 don't know if it quicksold though.
The validity of the things below three is what's important.
As sugarcube -the suggester- has outlined, there are multiple reasons why those sales would not constitute basis for a sensible range. Pearly has provided no such reasoning and therefore Sugar's reasoning automatically trumps it.
No reason>reason ok
But 3 pieces of proof >1 piece of proof what the fuck
Seriously?
Just think about it.
AND NOW
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24376023 2.5 Buyout
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24031607 3 BO
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23359833 3.5 BO
All buyouts are LESS than your single sale.
ALL. BUYOUTS.
There is even a 2.5 buyout, i could put 2.3 in the range but seeing the 4 sale i did not as it seemed low, it still seems low i will still not put it into the range because of that 4 sale.
But 3-4 is ridiculous
It's been established that that 2.5 B/O was lowered for a higher amount and then quicksold.
That B/O of 3 quicksold in about 3 hours.
Well done for counter-proofing yourself there bae <3
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24019533
+ quicksold? meh
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24263460 Seems like he wants 3 aswell [right side of trade]
3 weeks nothing
sugar is wrong deal with it or let a mod deal with it god
Refer to the comments on that second trade, the owner is clearly insane X3
First one is still a quicksell.
its called "refreshing"
