I had seen it, but I felt that the majority of users hadn't and accepting based on it would be leaving the community without proper opportunity to review and expand on the proof. For a starting price, I believed that just wouldn't be acceptable.
Fair enough, I apologise for making that assumption - I have seen suggestions in the past closed because, for example, the OP had a typo which was verified in the comments, but the suggestion was closed regardless.
No worries at all, no offense was taken. Just thought I'd explain.
