Sold for a clean strange bonk boy- (45+ 3 ( strange ) 48) and he added 3 tour of duty tickets.

so 48 - 1.5 ( Rounding 3 tickets is 20.49 ref ) = 46.5x .9 = 41.85 Rounded to 42.

That doesn't work. You don't add anything to an unusual if it is strange.

why not?

Because in 99% of cases, Paints, Spells, Parts and Strangifiers add Next-to-NOTHING of value. You don't mysteriously add a couple keys for no reason.

there is a reason. Bonk boy strangifier is 3 keys. that is a decent portion of the overall price

1. Strangifiers don't have prices

2. Strange worths are VERY NEGLIGIBLE when price suggesting unusuals. You're literally faking extra value on your suggestions.

I beg to differ. Look at my Trencher's Topper suggestions. They involved Strange Trencher's, and I did not add any strange values 'just because'.

It just seriously sounds like you're trying to fake your way to an extra couple keys.
