I understand this is what it sold for in the end.. But it did have offers much higher. The owner was mislead to believe the KE was much more than it really is..

Offers like - 70 pure buds + lantern crones + sulphurous tc ?

I offerered the 3x Stashes? (~96 going off current price before overpays etc) - actually negotiated more but dont have proofs etc so we will ignore that for now. I retracted because he was valuing the KE at like 100 or something insane as thats what the sellers b/o was..

Before the shitstorm follows that says offers =/= sales - i understand and completely agree. I just think another sale will show this thing is clearly worth more than 70-80

The issue with pricing god-tier hats like this is it's hard to set a guideline. No self-respecting god-tier trader is the kind that uses bp.tf like a bible, so these suggestions are really just more about recording previous sales. When this item resells, and it will, because assuredly the bp.tf price will be no detriment, then we'll update with the new more recent sale.

Until then this suggestion is doing it's job, but I hope I've clarified for you :P

The thing you forget is when another one is unboxed and a kid thinks all he can get is 70 because thats the "Price" when in reality he/she could easily get ~100-150 for the hat. These prices aren't really a factor for the god-tier traders you're talking about because like you said they dont use it like a bible. Unknowing people do, i'm just going to be really dissapointed if another gets unboxed and another scorching BoA owner gets ripped off like this kid was. That's a fair point. I forgot to check the previous trade. Regarding those offers, though, pullover offer was retracted. 2 of the stashes were duped. The 70 pure buds + crones + tc was a collecting offer. If there was something clear to me anywhere that 70 was an outlier, I would completely agree with you. High end is coming from the highest clear, documented offer that I see since the hat was unboxed. If I'm missing other valid offers higher than that, let me know.

i forgot that duped hats may aswell mean nothing to you guys. lol Nevermind. Regardless it has been and had been offered much more than this by myself and others negotiating with the previous owner. I had made a heap of offers but its impossible to compete with someone thinking a sulph KE is worth 100 because thats what he was lead to believe.

I don't understand the need for the snide comment. As an avid trader, you know as well as I do that on higher tier hats being duped makes a difference. Heck, even on hats 1 buds, I am frustrated to no end when a trader tells me he won't buy it since its duped. Whether I think it being duped SHOULD change the value is independent of the fact that it being duped DOES change the value. Doesn't mean that duped hats always sell for less. It just means that on average they do sell for 10% less. On some hats more than 10% (scorching ke), on some hats 0%.

My comment was not intended to be cynical or snide. It's just my observations. I dont comment here with the intention to just argue or anything of the sort i was just pointing out that it currently has, and previously has had much, much better offers than what it sold for. We all know if anyone here had the hat 70-80 wouldn't be an asking price and meerly a fraction of what it can/will get.

And some odd times, they sell more than the average price.

We have now waited a month for any proof that this an outlier. I still see no offers showing the sale at 70 was an outlier. When this DOES sell again, it can be repriced. For now, reporting the sale as is.
