You are having a range from one sale. Besides that, i highly doubt that the Prof Killstreak Australium Rocket Launcher is worth as much as you think. You are just using sellers on scm to determine the value of it. Scm values of such items are normally higher than what people are selling on outpost. You will need to research more into the value of that.

My first price suggestion, so apologies if it's a bit messy.
This is a 1/1 hat, sold to me by http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198143614864. I payed a Australium Rocket Launcher with Professional Killstreaks applied to it. (Sheen: Flames and Villainous Violet). The RL is worth about 8 buds. The range of the hat is around 8-9 buds (as estimated by unboxer + a few of his friends + myself).
My reasoning for pricing this hat so high is as follows:
- It's a Head Warmer, which is normally a very high-tier unusual
- It's a new effect, released in an update that was 4 months or so back
- It's 1/1 in the world, making it very rare, and consequently, very valuable.
- It has an extremely short history, with myself being the second owner.
If you have any questions, please post them in the comments below. I'd love to hear any critique you guys have for me ~ again, I'm new to this whole price-suggesting business.

You need sales for this to go through and also, even if the RL was worth 8, I don't see where you got the high end (9) in a reasonable way, because estimating isn't a reliable method what so ever.
It was what the original owner suggested, and the unusual, after all, was overpay. I know this isn't very strong reasoning, but I'm trying my best.

Also, you need to make a mini suggestion for the rocket, you can't just make a random price out of it.

Problem is, it all depends on the sheen/killstreaker and what the owner deems it's worth. I'd say my killstreaker is pretty high-tier, and as such, I priced it at 8 buds. Also, they could be quickselling, you never know~
Yes, a specific combo for an unboxable killstreak kit can be worth a whole bud more, and yes, two sellers are obviously quickselling even when one states "In No Rush to sell so it better be a good offer!".
Might as well make a suggestion for this hat to be worth 100 buds since you're the only owner and therefore 'can deem what it is worth'.
Obviously the price must be within reason, but with killstreaks, it's much more open and up to the owner.

How do I have "no idea what I'm doing"? I'm an avid trader and I'm trying to get into price suggesting. I think all the proof I provided, with its flaws, was relevant and contributes well to the suggestion itself.
You're being ignorant. You want the price to be high like you said earlier and tell me where you're getting a range for 1 sale? and being a good trader has nothing to do with price suggestions. If you really need it, I'll dive into further reasearch and make my own suggestion. But it sure won't be what you expected.

scm still leaves a tax, still requiring overpay. and plus u have a range with 1 sale. price manipulation is what im about to conlude. just because an item is on the market, deosnt means its actually selling as well

simply bc all the people making complaints, this suggestion can also be seen as a big opinion. it shouldnt be what u think it should be at, it's what the public thinks it should be at. the hat is ~7.2 with overpay applied. deal with it.

if he offered on your rl, that means the rl gets the price increase (if you could price a pro one). the hat would be around somewhere slightly <8, since the hat was traded for in that value.

Lowest is selling for $239, and that's Singularity/Mean Green. My sheen was on the same level, if not more high tier, and that's why I priced it as such.
