No, cancelling the subscription just stops automatically charging you. The money you sent is never coming back. If you didn't subscribe and just paid, you won't need to do this because it won't automatically charge you next month.

Yeah, it won't charge you next month but the money you already spent won't be refunded, and you'll keep your premium this month.

Lol I never paid for anything in my backpack, I invested 5 dollars, and gave 2 keys to a friend who bought me L4D2, after that I just traded constantly, and got all this. Only thing I paid for on anything on TF2 is backpack.tf premium, and I don't want it :c

Same happened to me, quit tf2 for a year, came back in september 2014.
