Many thanks aaroncsn but I ll refute your comment

previous suggest: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/54d0273bb98d88c0458b469f

http://imgur.com/Pz4LOkn Sold for 120 keys so 9.1 buds(bud = 13.25 keys at that time)

But people said that b/o was 7.7 buds http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23990958

I ll refute all opinion about this

Ya B/O was 7.7 buds but he said 'Only pure keys will be accepted, anything else will be rejected'

It means 'I ll accept only pure keys, anything else(bud, max, houwar etc..) will not be accepted'

aaroncsn, you said 'You had plenty of time to convert the keys into buds when the realistic price of buds is no where near 16 keys'

But that seller was not accepted buds, why I must convert keys into buds? Pure keys =/= buds. Bud offers would be rejected.

As a result, there was no method paying his b/o in buds because he did not accepting buds.

If you cant understand, see this http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24310028 an exaggerated example but same way

Keep in mind, Pure keys =/= Pure buds..

Here's when I come in doubt as to whether you overpaid or if this suggestion should pass.

Staying neutral for now.

The big flaw in your argument is that you are using his value of buds instead of the value of buds on backpack.tf. Prices of unusuals on backpack.tf are based on the buds value on the site and not what individual sellers deemed it to be at.

In the eyes of backpack.tf, the b/o of 7.7 buds would be 102 keys. Regardless of what the seller's value of buds is, it will still remain at that value. Because of that, we have deemed that you paying 120 keys is an overpay in terms of pure and the pure b/o rule still applies.

There has also been another sale, would be worth looking into aswell.

Not that i can find on premium. Mind sharing the link?

          Urh, people and their renames...

I looked wrong, I though one had been sold turns out he was the same user he just renamed/painted it.

You are still saying about that b/o. I d like to say 'The B/O is not vaild'.

The b/o is kind of fake because it cant be paid in buds.

If it is vaild, You must suggest 1.7 buds about this sale http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24310028 even it is sold for 170 keys(If it happens)

Most important fact is he was not accepting buds. So no one can do bud offers, only key offers are allowed. First I offered 105 keys(It will be around 7.9 buds) but declined.

Gotta say, kinda curious as to what the other mods have to say about this. Don't get me wrong Aaron, your unusual pricing knowledge is astounding (your suggestions were always safe votes :> ) but I'm interested in knowing whether or not the other mods are in consensus with the things you point out in your "big flaw" comment

As we speak the mods are being consulted, along with a couple of the more high-profile unusual suggesters.

In short, we have summoned the Unusual Council XD

well excellent, I'll check back in tonight (live in EST) and see what's been said

I am discussing this suggestion with other mods as well as we speak. Hopefully we will come to a unanimous decision about this soon.

"No sale should be valued higher than a hat’s buyout in pure. If a person in the comments of a trade states a willingness to sell for "x" pure, the trade should not be valued above "x."

            Everyone should know this.

To me, it looks like the listed b/o in buds is inaccurate. We all agree that the seller's value of buds was different than the backpack.tf value so should we not consider that with the b/o as well? He stated the number of keys that he would take at 120 so that would put his b/o at about 9 buds using the bp value.

              Maybe?

The issue at hand is this. The b/o was listed at 7.7 buds, but FBI was not willing to take 7.7 buds (even if paying in buds). At the time of the sale, he wanted keys only. Therefore, by definition, since he wasn't actually willing to take 7.7 buds, the b/o could not have been 7.7 buds. A b/o is the price you are willing to take on your hat. 7.7 buds was NOT his b/o. He wanted 120 keys, and that is what was paid.

Only valid, recent, clean sale. Accepting, even though this seems pretty high for this hat. These have always been around 7-8 for the last 2 years.
