Re-suggesting with overpay and a buyout in mind (Oops)
Dis iz teh best hat in tf2, muds mak diz teh nxt brning teem caaptin.
Wow. Writing that was harder than I thought. Anyway, only 6 month old price. Not a nice effect though.
Only one on the market, hasn't been sold often. Not to mention after like a month it disappears into the murk of alts.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24582799 - Sold for Smoking Ol' Snaggle http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24791025 (12 keys)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24919603 B/O of 10
Thanks, let me know if I missed anything.
There you go.
Snaggle is worth 12-14 key or 13 keys. Overpay means x.9 which totals to 11.7
2nd link hasnt sold, buyout doesnt mean anything till it is sold
I was told repeatedly to use the B/O as a factor in the range. I'm so conflicted. As for overpay, yeah, I rounded in order to make it a clean 12. I've seen so many people do that I assumed it was just common practice.
Should you base the low range off of a seller, and not a sale? Not to nitpick, but (as far as I know) unusual prices are based all off of sales. I understand where you're coming from showing the current seller wanting less than the price, but I'd like to get some confirmation/denial on that.
Also, there are multiple recent sales:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24715105 "quicksell" for 12 keys, I'm not sure if he actually quicksold it off the trade or just closed it without bumping.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24782861 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24782861 sold for probably CS:GO keys, but I haven't delved into backpack histories.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24280790 sold to Hamaji, trade involved a DBD Rebel Rouser (not sure what else may have been involved) http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,3423525602,30120,5 (item history of the Rouser)
You'll need to acknowledge these sales for sure. Good suggestion, though! Keep it up and you'll be on the fast track to success.
As for the quicksell, couldn't tell what it had sold for, so I didn't include it. And the Rebel Rouser like you I couldn't figure out what else (as something had to be included) was included in the trade so that was left out as well. And the B/O was made the low end per recommendation by the community.
For the quicksale trade, http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24715105 He ended selling both the unusuals for 20 keys pure as shown here http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198135943552?time=1421638393. It shouldn't be used as it is a quicksale.
You are right about using the b/o for the low end as it is still pretty young so having it conversative as a low end is fine. Accepting this.
