Apparently one trade is plenty to make a suggestion for this item.

Someone offered me his fan today or yesterday night, after the price change anyway.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18835708 - quickbuyers should not be used as proof

It's almost a year I'm buying and I can assure you it's not quick at all.

quickbuyers are people who are willing to purchase many of an item for lower than the market value

Tho it was "lower than the market value" only after the past price suggestion, one sale at one ref isn't the market.

Edit: also my trade has been used as proof before, without even mentioning a sale, so apparently is more than enough

I thought quickbuy = paying more than the item's original worth. Buying items for less than its worth will make it a 'slowbuy' as it would be significantly slower to actually be able to find a person who's selling it for a lower price than its actual price. Might be a little bit confusing but it makes sense at least.

Tbh that's what I thought as well, I'd get much more stuff if my buying price was one ref, even more if it was two ref and so on.

quickbuying is paying less than the item's worth to quickly flip it for profit

quickselling is selling for less than the item's worth to quickly acquire pure (usually pure)

I don't think my trade should be considered as quickbuying anyway, I'm not reselling that stuff and less than two day ago 0.11 was "the market price", meaning I was making no profit at all.

                  Let's wait for a staff's reply.

*shrug* you don't necessarily have to flip for profit. I've quickbought genuines before (I collect). but I'm just staying neutral on this since one sale at 1 and one sale at .11 here :<

I would have used this sale as counter-proof for the last suggestion, but it got closed in less than 24hrs, before I even noticed it was already approved :|

Quickbuying can mean buying quickly or buying quicksells. Why people can't agree on one definition I don't know.

Buying quickly does not necessarily mean buying quicksells. If quicksell means selling the items for less than its price then quickbuy must be the opposite shouldn't it? Quickbuying = buying items for MORE than its value. Now, buying items for LESS price is a SLOWER process than buying it for MORE. There are less quicksellers than there are people selling for bp.tf price if not higher meaning it would be a "slowbuy" if they're buying quicksells. More people are willing to sell it for higher prices than there are selling for less.

                    This is just my logic.

                    *apologise for going off-topic

I didn't say buying quickly means buying quicksells. I said that quickbuying can be used to refer to either of those. As for your logic, both "buying quickly" and "buying quicksells" seem to lead to the compound term "quickbuying".

Classifieds for one ref or more don't seem to sell.

                    Doesn't seem like it.

                      Or maybe you're just ignorant? ¯\_(͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

well it being 1 ref on backpack.tf makes him less likely to buy the item for lower, and if he's collecting he wants to get it as cheap as possible

Well when they skyrocketed to 1.33 it actually boosted my trades, but I had to deal with a lot more of people nagging me about bp.tf price.

I wasn't expecting a new buyer tbh, I could post a bunch of other buyers for lower but I genuinely don't know how this can effect the suggestion.

It counters your suggestion since its above your range. +0.11 is more than possible.

Ye thought so, it still needs to drop from 1 ref tho and I don't really want to wait, gather more proof and make a new suggestion.

Regardless I'd have no idea how to include that in range and a trade that is only few hours old wouldn't justify a flat 0.66

Since thats a buyer it doesnt justify a drop to 0.66 or under. Furthermore this current suggestion seems invalid.

How come invalid? Most of the suggestions for this item have been approved providing only one sale from the guy who actually sold/boutght it.

Beside the new buyer I see no reason to consider this invalid.

As I told you before, its still a buyer above your suggested range,.

On the suggestions you talk about, these are for sales at a higher point, for example the past accepted suggestion on this item. to lower a price sales have less/no relevance.

Who trades them means nothing as proof.

Fair enough, I guess I have to gather unsolds to lower a price but with the new .66 buyer it would be kinda useless.

I'll close this and see what happens.
