1 exists according to bp.tf. Currently in FATMAN's backpack, and I don't think he is reselling (I have absolutely no idea where he does his trading though (it's kind of weird I've never seen him trading anywhere considering he has the #3 backpack), so I might be wrong.).

Sale 1: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25028636 - Sold for 120 keys pure, 10 buds.

Sale 2: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25115133 - Sold for 299$ on SCM (Says so in the trade and one sold for that exact amount on the date: http://imgur.com/qFCGJFC )

Buyer Value: 299/24.8(Please correct me if this valuation of buds is wrong)= 12

Seller value: 299/1.15 (steam tax)= 260

260/ 24.8= 10.5

Average of 10.5 and 12 is 11.25, rounding to 11.3.

Other sales untracable or quicksales.

As usual, if there is anything wrong with this suggestion please tell me and I will try to fix it (I probably screwed up the SCM sale, it's my first time doing that)! Thanks in advance and have a nice day :)

I THINK he's one of those traders who just random adds for what he wants. I always found it a bit weird I never run into people like him too.

    Suggestion looks good to me!

      I find it weird that he has so many engineer unusuals but never expressed interest in mine when I had like 15 Pencil Pushers ;-;

Thanks for the feedback! I as a bit worried I messed up the SCM part.

or my pencil pusher. burning gets no love these days it seems

why are you taking the average of 10.5 and 12? also scm sales shouldn't be used as low/high end

Well if he use SCM for a sale, it only makes sense to use the price of Buds on SCM aswell.

But yeah, don't think he can do it with a SCm sale, not sure however as the suggestions isn't completely based on that sale.

I did it based on this comment from Grim on my last suggestion, did I misinterpret it?:

        Steam Community Market Sales

For each SCM sale, please provide proof (screenshot) that the hat of that particular effect sold for the said price

To determine a trade value, you should take in consideration BOTH what a buyer paid and what the seller sold (i.e. you will get a range from a single sale. low end = what the seller received; high end = what the buyer paid)

Buyer value: If the hat is >1 buds in value, take the sale value divided by the value of buds AT THE TIME. If the hat is <1 buds in value, take the sale value divided by the value of keys AT THE TIME.

Seller value: First factor in steam tax. Divide the sale value by 1.15. Then divide the result by the value of buds or keys at the time of the sale as appropriate.

Treat SCM sales as you would other sales - compare the sale value to other sales and b/os to determine if it is an outlier)"

A random guy 7 months ago doesn't seem like a very good source. I'd rather go with the official pricing guide written by a mod.

where does it say you can use scm sales as low/high end?

"Treat SCM sales as you would other sales - compare the sale value to other sales and b/os to determine if it is an outlier)"

that doesn't tell anything, and nobody is talking about outliers

...that tells us SCM sales should be treated like other sales. Other sales can be used for high and low ends.

Where does it say they *can't* be used as a high or low end? I appreciate advice, but only if you can actually back it up.

Your value for the buds seems low. You should use the scm value of the buds as an estimation. On the 19th of february, buds were sold between the value of 27.5 - 30.75 . Buds can be roughly taken as 29.13 dollars.

        299/29.13 = 10.3 buds

        299/1.15 = 260 / 29.13 = ~8.9 buds.

A range of 8.9-10.3. Average value of 9.6 buds.

I would go with 9.6-10 buds here.
