I don't get why you would suggest a price for an item using sellers not for that item because "people treat them the same"
Sellers at 1.1 keys

Sellers at 1 key

All other sellers are highballing like crazy, or haven't bumped their trades in quite a while
Sales
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24911381 - sold for 1 key (seems to have sold multiple)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25190348 - offered on a cold snap coat, shouldn't really be used as a sale
Literally only 3 of the keys on outpost have more than one person in their history
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25192924 - quicksold, looks like it went 1:1 with a gifted Robo-Key
I think I'm missing something, but don't you need sales for an unpriced item?
idk, I only price unusuals
Anyways, this is a rare currency item, and all except for one of the ones on the outpost trades I listed only have a single owner, so I feel like having only sellers is reasonable.
yesh solds needed
You need solds at 1.1 keys.
The 1 key end is fine because of that link you showed, but currently the 1.1 is coming out of no where.
To be the first to price an item you need solds at the highest part of the range, then sellers at lower than the highest sold can be used to set a lower end. If anything, with the proof provided it should be 1 key flat.
first link sold
