The harvest exe was made after I had already bought the Shirt, the trade was just not closed. Hence the mods closing it.

Im surprised that these are so low priced. I mean, i was expecting at least 30.

I bought it before it was known that it was discontinued, this suggestion is a joke. I took a risk on an item, and it paid off, other Jackets have sold for 3x this. Not to mention this sale it 2+ months old, way out of date for an item with a price that has dramatically changed weeks after my purchase.

I am sure the Mallard Soviet and Luchadore is not 33 buds (more like 8 tops) so that means the offer would have been 52 buds in a 1st gen, just on the shirt.

Bob also made an offer of a SBTWC Antlers + P Shadows Antlers + S Bat Crones on the 3x Mallard as well, I am sure that's a easy 60 buds each, 180 (and again, the Soviet and Lucha is no more then 8) so the offer would have been above 150 in 3rd gens?

In retrospect I should have taken the 3x Bat set, but at the time, the other Siberia had offers of a stupendous amount of pure, now weather or not the price has changed since then, is something this suggestion doesn't stand for, if you had made this suggestion months ago, it would be rejected and laughed at, this is to old of a sale and an outlier to be a serious price suggestion.

2 Days later I sold a Harvest Exe for a Beams Veil + Dusk Swagmans (Veil is around 40) and I counted the Swag at 15 at the time.

Even if the Exe was 50 (give or take buds on the Swag/Veil) thats still nearly 2x this suggestion.

I don't spend my time keeping track of low offers, anything below 100 at the time, (after my raise in expectaions with Bobs offer) was thought about for a split second, declined and I moved on. I own 100+ hats, and did 2 months ago as well, I don't have time to keep track of each offer above this horded price suggestion value I have had over the months.

This is more then enough to show the price you "think" it should be, is far from what it actually is.

When you sell it, I'll resuggest. Until then, nah. This is the only sale, and I'm recording the only sale.

Wayne, let's be honest here: you are a capable trader. You should know by now that backpack prices have no impact on what high-tier unusuals sell for. As such, what backpack.tf prices this Unusual at in no way affects what yours will sell for in the future. This is the only sale that has occurred and as such it's being used in this suggestion, which is within all rules. If you believe it is worth more, there's an easy fix - sell it for more! But coming here to complain is not the right thing to do; it doesn't help you or anyone else.

What you call "to complain" I call defending the items true value. Regardless if I am correct or not, it's what I have chose to do, and in my mind, its in the best interest of the community, the value of the item in question, and protection to myself to make sure items are correctly portrayed in terms of value, the fact that I own said item is regardless. The suggestion is on going before I saw it, only makes this suggestion near the top of my priority list.

If I bought a Sunbeams Shaman Mask for 50 Pure, and a week later it became a misc (i.e a market changing update) would you still feel it is "ok" to make a price suggestion for the Shaman, @ 50 buds, months after I have owned it, and have clearly had higher offers because of said market changing update?

The Heavy Hunters ability to become unboxed was un-clear when I bought it, shortly after it was made clear, by Valve/Steam whoever made the official update towards the patch that would ultimately remove the Hunter Heavy from the pool of available cosmetics to be unboxed. That being said, it would be dramatically inaccurate to base a price off sale before this update.

I have just as much as a hard time seeing why you don't close this suggestion, and prevent wasting more of peoples time, then you do trying to grasp my point in all this. Think about that next time you gather your friends to shit all over my comments.

I asked mods from backpack.tf, and there response was clear, find offers to prove it is an outlier, if you wish to keep saying that offers mean nothing and only sales due, despite the fact that there was a game changing update that limits the availability after the sale, then by all means you have the right after all, to be wrong.

Also, by any chances do you remember when you offered those "100 bud" offers? Probably alittle after you got it, then more were unboxed, then nobody gave a fuck about them cause they weren't as rare they were said to be. I'm also not going to spend the next hour an a half reading enough to form a fucking novel about you complaining on how the only sale was an outlier and it's your own sale, and you have no valid reason to even say it's an outlier. What you have to understand is if an item has misc hype, this already plays into its market value. People will want to pay more highly for it before it is updated, because they believe - whether right or wrong, it's irrelevant - that they will be able to flog it for more after the speculated update.

I will reiterate, if this is not the item's true value, then prove it. Sell your for higher. Then the price here will be adjusted to reflect your sale. You seem to be under the impression the you're 'defending' the true value and you are not. 27 buds is a sale, it's what you paid for it, it's the price on this item on backpack until another sale comes along. There is no 'true value', only observed sales. In fact, let me point you in this direction. Holy crap... Here is how suggestions like these have been approached before. If there is only a single sale with no consistent offers showing that sale is an outlier, we report the sale as is. If there is a single sale but subsequent offers are shown to be consistently higher than the sale value, we count the sale as an outlier and close the suggestion. I'm willing to leave this up for some time to see if this gets a few more offers. One thing to note here, the reported sale was over 2 months ago. So offers 2 months ago are still more recent than the sale and are still valid if the sale is valid.

Adding this part list as the offers got in 1 day, after removing any price expectations I had on the Hunter.

Did you remember to factor in overpay?

HazMat = 57.5 * 0.9 = ~51.8

Stashes = 96 * 0.9 = 86.4

Stahl = 37 * 0.9 = 33.3

86.4 + 33.3 = 119.7 - 51.8 = 67.9, can safely round to 70 though.

EDIT: 2 stashes are duped, Stahl is duped. Okay. Yeah. If you could prove the value for those then that'd be nice. Just because you value them as much as clean ones doesn't mean everyone else does. :P

Why is my HazMat being counting in overpay, it was discussed (in as little words as needed) and we worked out a deal, one side did not openly make the final offer :/ (I guess it's not really needed, if it still is, after a neutral deal has been made, well..that's something you guys might want to work on :D
