$.125 is 12.5 cents.

Except .005 cents isn't a thing.

It is if you're buying two things at that price. 12.5 + 12.5 = 25.

And it's incredibly rare to buy less than 2 ref.

.005 cents is 5 one thousandths of a cent, which is not a thing. However .5 cents is actually a thing, the half cent coin.

Say you bought 100 ref. At 12 cents each, it would cost $12. At 12.5 cents each, it would be $12.50. 50 cent difference.

Just because people are selling for higher doesn't necessarily mean that they sell at .14

Neither of your bp.tf forum links at .12 have been bumped recently (also one is a repeat from your outpost links). The one .11 selling link is also not bumped.

The buyer at .11 is a well known quickbuyer for keys/metal

As a non-frequent user of backpack forums (or really any forums), I was not aware of bumping of threads. As for the buyer, I guess I just glanced at the sellers not really expecting there to actually be someone who buys them.

The trading sections of bp.tf are the only places where the thread creator has the ability to bump. I just point these things out so you have the ability to correct them. I couldn't care less about the cash value of refined.

Hmmm,... no wonder why refined metal, key, and bud prices are extremely hard to investigate.

It's a shame to see ref go down...

whats the deal with ref. Ad new players join the game the portion of ref to players doesn't change there for keys are overvalued and ref is under valued
