If your mini shows the antlers sold for 8 pure, why provide overpay?
Cause I heard this from someone else. "If the mini for an unusual that's outdated is in pure, then there's no need to apply overpay."
I could be wrong, but just wondering.
Also, there's been some more sales: http://backpack.tf/item/3004406197
The Norman sold for a hat, not pure hence overpay should be applied.
But the hat's mini was in pure.
The Norman sold for a hat, just so happens there's a sale of the hat it sold for in pure.
You don't get what I mean.
What you're saying is pretty clear but it makes no sense to me. I get there's a growing a trend about treating hats as pure since they have a mini for pure but when the buyer agreed to the hat they agreed to taking a hat, not 8 buds. Besides that the Antlers the mini is based on is a completely different one to the one traded for the Norman so it just so happens someone completely removed from the Norman trade got those 8 buds for their Antlers.
aka the BS that Zcrab supplies
the general consensus is 'Hat = 0.9, pure = 1' :3
*ahem* It's not bullshit, it's the right way to use overpay.
If a hat sells for 8 Buds after overpay in a week, then does it again after 1 week that shows 8 Buds after overpay is easy to get and should be taken as pure since it's so common. Otherwise we'd make the prices of hats seem lower than what they actually can go for which is not what backpac.tf is interested in.
Though, if a hat sells for 8 Buds after overpay in a week, then takes 2 months to then again sell for 8 Buds after overpay then I'd say to put overpay on it, as the hat isn't that easy to get 8 Buds after overpay from and shows 8 might be a tad too high and a reasonable amount would be lower.
The overpay rule isn't something you can just go ahead and say you HAVE to do that. If you have a good argument for not to do it, then that is definitely something to be looked into/followed. This is confirmed by Polar.
I counted this as Overpay since this ONE sold for 8 Buds pure. It's not that it sold multiple times for 8, or that multiple sold for 8.
I'm really not talking about it in this case, just explaing to Sugarcube why what I say is true and not "BS".
I'll keep saying it's utter BS, it can 'sell quickly', but it's not essentially overpaying on pure.
*insert some garbage comeback argument from you*
No point, i'm sticking with my opinions.
My point comes from Polar, he teached me about the rule and how it works, but it's just fine go make suggestions like you do if you absoloutely don't wanna learn.
They get accepted, i can't care any less
Antlers are outdated. http://backpack.tf/vote/id/523838344dd7b8d36c8b4568 <-- Please make a mini. Also, possibly provide a range? Or do you think the 8 Bud sale is an outlier?
Whoops. Forgot that was a mini. Possibly label that as a mini? :3
Overpay shouldn't be applied as mini sold in pure. 8 flat sounds better :)
Most of these sales are valid and there has been a more recent sale than just this one.

I checked, but that sale was purely with $. I could use that sale and resuggest once I converted it. As for Newb's comment, I'll edit it now to say "Mini". I forgot to :)

Seems like it is unlikely for the TW Antlers to sell below 10. 8 pure should be fine and no overpay should be applied.
Well, 1 is a set, the other's for money (you have no idea what it'd go for unless you bought it). In the set, the Antlers were bought for 150 keys when buds were 16.75 (~9 Buds at the time). With a 9 Bud listing, and this 8 bud sale, the 1 listing up now for 15 buds seems an outlier.
Okay. So there's a sale at 9 pure, a sale at 8 pure, and a seller at 15. Why do we need to apply overpay on an 8 buds pure sale?
Well, if we count the Antlers as 8.5, would you have me resuggest mine (and technically Platinum's, since his is 8) at 8.5?
No. The sale at 9 is outdated. However, it should be obvious that valuing the TW Antlers at 8 is conservative and thus a fairly accurate pure value.
