Buyers don't count.
Plus there's only one buyer.
No real proof. Downvote.
Buyers do count.
So what if there's only one buyer.
That's real proof. Upvote.
No they don't.
I can put up a post asking to buy a Golden Frying Pan for 1 Refined Metal. That still doesn't mean that the Golden Frying Pan should be worth 1 Refined Metal. Or I could ask to buy a Golden Frying Pan for 500 buds. Still doesn't mean that it should be worth 500 buds. Use your brain a little.
I am rising, not decrasing
If you put up a post buying the golden frying pan for 130 buds, and you get one, then it should raise.
He's buying above backpack.tf price, that's what's important.
Maybe if buyers do count, ONE buyer still can't change a price.
If he had multiple buyers as proof, that would be a different story.
''yeah'' rigjt, it cant; http://backpack.tf/vote/id/54f9e8d7b98d8845278b4635
You're missing the point. Buyers represent the minimum price that someone is willing to pay for an item. So if someone is willing to pay above bp.tf price, the price should clearly be higher. If someone is willing to pay below bp.tf price, we have learned nothing.
So if I am the only person in the whole world that is willing to pay 1 Scrap Metal (0.11 Ref) for a Unique Fortified Compound, its worth/price should raise to 0.11 Ref? Makes no sense.
There's a difference in size between that market and the Vintage Respectless Rubber Glove's market.
But it was just an example.
Just because one person buys an item for higher than what it's worth, doesn't mean its price should raise.
Well, that's just an opinion. My opinion.
your opinion doesnt work here, you need valid proof
How can I prove that me buying an item for more than what it's worth is enough proof to raise its price?
There's no proof in that. It's just self-explanatory.
If the market's small enough, one buyer can indicate a price needs to be increased. That's how backpack.tf works. It's not just an opinion.
Depends on the market. Comparing a buyer of a single unique weapon with a buyer of multiple unobtainable hats is very, very different. If however, you plan on buying every single fortified compound you possibly can for a scrap, then it's a different story, and could warrant a conservative rise. Again, it all depends on circumstance.

Well, it's not really "ancient." He keeps changing his prices in accordance with SCM.
