how do u look at closed trades?

On how to price the sales? I'd start with reading the trade to see if the sale is clear there (including reading the replies to the trade to see if the buyer posted there first). If I haven't found it there, I'd look at the seller's and the buyer's past trades to see if there was an unusual/aussie/etc shared between the two (check item histories). If I still haven't found the trade, I'll go to backpack.tf for the seller/buyer and check the backpack histories to see if I can locate the sale. If after all that I can't come to a conclusion, I'd list the sale and say that it is untrackable.

On how to find closed trades? I looked at past suggestions for this hat, found different IDs (stormy chapeau 1, 2, 3, etc), looked at the ID history of the hats, and noted the ones that had recent ID changes. Then I went through the past outpost trades of the people who were associated with the ID changes, found their trade with the Chapeau listed, made sure it was within the past 3 months (aka "recent" enough for a price suggestion) and linked it here for you.

So, for instance, No Name :( sold it to crazedturtle. crazedturtle didn't post on the trade, so I'm going to look at the past outpost trades of No Name :( and see if there is an unusual/etc afterwards that shares IDs with crazedturtle. There aren't any high value items in No Name :('s past trades that share an ID with crazedturtle, so I start looking at crazedturtle's trades.

I see that http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,3387974778,1108,5 was listed in a trade by crazedturtle before he had the chapeau up in a trade, and that it shares an ID with No Name :(, so I assume that there was a trade for the two. I look at crazedturtle's past trades involving the taunt to see if No Name :( offered on them: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24475346 and http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24586300 were the past trades before crazedturtle made one with the Chapeau. Looking at the second trade, No Name :( offered the hat on the taunt and it was accepted.

So, you know that the hat traded for the taunt. You know that No Name :( offered on the taunt, so there will be no overpay calculated. Price the taunt and do not apply overpay since No Name :( offered on it and you have your sale.

Taunt: Buy a Life - Megastrike was outdated at the time of the sale and has not been updated since, so you have to do a mini on taunt. Once you do a mini on the taunt, you're done.
