I really hate countering, it's evil.

Some guy claims that he's been offered 40 keys for a spy crate. I'm calling BS until I see it, but that's interesting.

I feel that I need to make a point.

Your buyer has put up a trade saying 'add me to discuss' with 8 keys on his side. He made a similar trade a few days ago, which can be found here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25320852 with similar notes: 'Add me or send a trade offer!'.

Are we to assume that in this trade, he wanted to spend 8 keys for 8 crates? I'm not so sure. I think he's just indicating that he has sufficient pure and is interested in negotiating. Staying neutral.

Guess so, but the trade leans more towards 8 keys, but anything else can also be a possibility, guess i'll just have to wait for a response, missed him by 50min.

I didn't intend to do some tricky or mislead you, just assumed explaining that i'm making a suggestion would take too long, and i'm not in the state to talk much right now, (5am, stayed up all night working on a guide)

There are lots of trades people would go through with if they could afford to. Having said that, clevernamehere has shown that they'd be willing to do 8 keys in mixed, not pure, which is proof of a buyer, so I guess this should be fine? I'm going to stay neutral, not because I think this suggestion is wrong but because I would like to see other opinions on the matter.

Can confirm. Just bought 3 crates (not spy) for 6 keys each.

If someone did have a spy, I would pay 8. Unfortunately, I only have 7 keys pure. That may or may not invalidate the suggestion, since I would be willing to add items
