First one of these, please don't eat me :D
On to the actual suggestion.
There only exist 4 of this hat, so sales are few and far between.
First sale (and best proof) is mine from this evening.
15 keys pure was the final sale.

The next sale is a bit rougher.
This sale is from two months ago, and the only proof I have is the backpacks of the buyer and seller.
Seller: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561197963746116?time=1420963200 --> http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561197963746116?time=1421049600
It looks like he got 12 new keys, and an Essential Accessories painted Orange (~2 keys). This comes out to around 14 total.
Buyer: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198038536815?time=1420790400 --> http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198038536815?time=1421049600
It looks like he lost 14 pure keys in exchange for this hat.
Using those two sales I came up with the range of 14-15 keys, which is appropriately priced in relation to other effects on the hat.
Thanks for reading!
Holy crap, that's an awesome 1st suggestion!
Most people don't start with unusuals and you've done an outstanding job for a beginner, I can see a lot of potential in you as a suggestor :D
Thanks a bunch! Researching stuff like this is fun for me, and unsuals are easier in my opinion. Fewer sales means less proof for me to find :D
I agree on that point, I've made over 300 unusual suggestions and I still can't figure out how to make a decent regular item suggestion.
nice suggestion good job :)
I see you read the rules
One of the few lol
Thanks! This was more based off of previous suggestions I've seen than it was the rules, but following them doesn't seem too hard.
Upvote, great proof
Finding the proof on a rare hat like this was a fun little challenge. Thanks for the positive reply!
Very, very good for a first suggestion. One problem I can see with it - your second sale had a B/O of 13 keys. -> http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24468452
Price can't go above that.
13-15 would be a better range from what I understand. Maybe someone with more unusual suggestion experience and understanding will provide additional input.
Yea I saw the trade on Outpost, that's how I tracked down the second sale. I am a bit confused as to the discrepancy between the trade b/o and the apparent final sale, but I think it's better to base a trade on the final sale than on what the trade was asking.
If I had to make a guess, maybe the buyer bought with 12 keys and the Essential Accessories, then factored item overpay. I'm really not sure though.
I think they just thought it was close enough or didn't care. Anyway, the rule of thumb here is to use the B/O if the sale total goes over the B/O, rationale being that the seller was willing to let that be his final price on the item. This still might be okay, just wanted to point it out.
This seems like a bit of an odd situation, but thanks for the advice, and I'll be sure to keep it in mind next time I do one of these!
Sure thing. I'm sure someone with more experience with unusual suggestions than me will pitch in to clear things up, or a mod will. At the very least, well done on making this. First suggestions being this well researched and presented is an extremely rare thing - good job on that, man.
Thanks! I enjoy doing little research projects like this, and I always hated having my hat unpriced, so this was fun for me and I'm sure other owners of this hat will enjoy it!
Its a valid point but that 1 key difference isn't enough of a change to merit a resuggestion imo.
Probably not, especially since the overpay on the accessories is a bit nebulous. But I've seen people be very pedantic with the B/Os and just wanted to inform the guy about it. Hope this passes if only because it's close enough and he made a genuine effort.
