Sorry for poor english, it's not my native language.
First of all, amount of this item on market surprisingly small: 8 opened trades at TF2Outpost, one at Bazaar.tf, 7 at SCM (30 solds) and 4 in classifieds. Now to the links.
Solds:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25368684 - 2 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25381493 - 2 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25371215 - 2 keys, probably sold on SCM
Sellers:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25361805 - no B/O, not accepted nor declined 1 key 7 ref offer; 1 day old
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25367917 - 1.5 keys; 1 day old
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25365170 - 1 key 10 ref; 1 day old
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25382252 - 2 keys, untradable 'till March 22nd; 7 hours old
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25357785 - 2 keys; 2 days old
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25385020 - 2-3 keys; 3 hours old
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25361754 - 3 keys; 1 day old
Supportive sources:
Classifieds at the moment of posting (23:26 GMT, March 16th): http://imgur.com/VvoOEhB
4 listings total: 1 for 1.41 keys, 2 for 2 keys, 1 for 2.24 keys.
SCM Median Sale Prices for last three days: http://imgur.com/Hp1skT1
Most sales between $4 and $6 USD. Cheapest active listing ATM is $3.93 USD.
So, we have some solds for 2 keys and some sells for 1.4 keys and slightly above. This is points for suggested range 1.4−2.0 keys.
That's all. Feel free to criticize, support or counter-offer.
You seem to be basing your low-end from an offer or classifieds, you can't do that.
Why not? There is some solds for stated price (2 keys) and at least one sells for lowered price (1.4 in classifieds) that don't look like quicksell (at least 1 day old, bumped few times, still present).
Classifieds can't be used as proof.
There is no such rule. Conversely, in the 'How to Make a Good Suggestion' guide stated that 'The backpack.tf classifieds are valid proof': http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/792-how-to-make-a-good-suggestion/
No, it states that:
"The backpack.tf classifieds are valid proof, but can be unreliable. They do not always update automatically, and when sold there is no history they were ever there."
Reason why people consider classifieds as supportive proof and not something to be used as main proof.
'Can be' ≠ 'must be' or 'will be', right? ATM you can see classified that was bumped at least 20 hours ago, user isn't offline so I don't think this one is 'unreliable'.
where did 1.4 come from
From classified listing.
which is invalid. downvote till you get actual proof of 1.4
> which is invalid
Please, explain why you think so.
it was already explained, believe it or not, this wont suffice
GLHF bb
So give me a link to rules/guide/forum thread where it is already explained, please.
UPD:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25361805 (first one in 'Sellers' section): talked to him, he sold his S.Buff Banner on SCM for '4 bucks or equivalent of 1.5 keys': http://imgur.com/YDMssAa
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25388379 - new trade, asking for one bud
Very good for a first suggestion
Thank you. I'll try to add more links if I get some: again, there are surprisingly small amount of this items for trade on all markets.
