You don't need solds to drop a price.
well you dont really need them but it more strongly shows that they go for that price your right you dont really need them

Solds can support a drop.
But they are not necessary to drop an item's price. Unsolds and sellers are needed to drop.

The reason I claimed your question ridiculous is because you happen to own a aussie flamethrower and happen to be against the drop.
i dont care about my flame it is cool i can still owning it if the price is not fair with his worth, i only wanted know why the people usually make drop prices here...The people will sell for much less to do quicksells if here low the price. Just trying learn and everybody here respond me aggressively.
