1 of 2 in the world. I sold 1 of them, and is now with a collector, the other one is with a banner OP user, and looks like he's the first indexed owner with no history attached -> http://backpack.tf/item/3393083098

Sold mine for 67 keys+2 buds (buds were 15 keys at the time of the trade 1/15/15)= 97 keys

Trade history: http://imgur.com/iuw3zFN & http://imgur.com/7WAIPH7 <- couldn't capture all 67 keys in one screenshot, so check the seller BP after to see 67 keys+2 buds

pretty sure you need more than one sale to price an unusual

there has been more than one sale and your sale doesn't appear to have been to a collector

Yes and no. It doesn't necessarily have to go to a collector per se, just as long as the hat itself isn't for resale. Currently, the owner of this hat does not have it listed for resale, meaning that it meets the criteria. The other owner is also keeping his, and has no sales on record. (I can't check this hat's history though, as the buyer's backpack is private.)

What would be doubly good is if OP could somehow contact the owner and make sure it isn't for sale.

well one sale would be fine if there are no other valid recent sales

Are there other sales? I'm trying to check histories right now. My premium has run up so it's more difficult for me to check.

Any chance you could provide a link to the hat's history? I'd love to double check and make sure there are no other sales within the past 2-3 months. If not, this is an easy upvote for me.

It's correct based on the current guidelines as most of the sale was in keys.

Well, I mean, the majority of the sale was in keys, so it's fine. Not to mention the plummet of Buds, I think it's about high time we start pricing in keys anyways.

But either way, since the sale was mostly keys, it's okay to price in keys.

your reading and maths could do with some work. he mentioned that buds were 15 keys at the time of his trade. if he was counting them at 10 keys each, 2 buds and 67 keys would be 87, not 97.

This. The two buds were valued at 15 keys each because that's what they were valued at when this sale happened.

wait oh i thought it said 77 keys lol

This is the hat I sold. Just realized I am not even a part of the history since I had sold this like a day or two after I purchased it from the first owner. http://backpack.tf/item/3399146466

Thanks for that. You can see the full history on tf2outpost however. You are listed there. =)

so there are two recent sales :?

no, I let my friend (tetra) borrow it, and when I was offered by the buyer, I got it back and sold it.

wait, but you bought it then resold it soon after? so two sales?

" since I had sold this like a day or two after I purchased it "

I bought it from the unboxer about 4 days before I sold it for 67 keys+2buds. The price was I bought it for was 2buds+13 keys, but this was a quicksell, and the unboxer wasn't aware that this hat is Limited, so I'm pretty sure that sale doesn't count.

Your purchase would definitely qualify as an outlier, not to mention it happened more than 2 months ago.

It would seem that the actual hat's exchange from OP to the buyer, as well as the buyer to the current owner, went undocumented by bp.tf. From what I can deduct, however, it would seem that this hat was either a) Brokered for someone, or b) Transferred from an alt, as the current exchange was for nothing.

Story seems to check out. This literally looks like the only sale in the past month. Upvote from me. =)
