Countered. Let it roll.
This counter needed to happen, he backsassed you when you tried to help him.
And called me a d*ck head. Some people man...
clearly just a new user who hasn't fully absorbed the rules and you were kind of rude waving your "180 accepted suggestions" dick around.
anyway to stay on topic; why do you think it's okay to assume that the capo guy sold it for his buyout on market? i don't see the logic.
the 15 keys was a qs nonetheless. There is nothing that comes up in both inventory histories. Most likely did sell for b/o.
i'm not disagreeing about the 15 key quicksale, nor do i dispute that it probably sold on the market. i'm just saying i don't think it's valid to assume what he sold it for in the absence of any actual evidence.
This should support it: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25397693 ~ offer of 18 pure keys.
a bud and 8 keys isn't "18 pure keys" but it is the equivalent given the date i suppose. still not convinced you should set the range based on an assumption and an offer.
if the capo was sold for, say, 18 keys value on the market, which is just as feasible as 20 in my book, then that would put that sale below 17 keys after overpay, and so it could be an outlier, given that 17 keys pure was a quicksell for the mountain cap. in which case the offer would be the only thing holding up the lower end. i feel you should add the guy and ask what he got.
Backassed, wow. All i saw was him pulling rank and being an asshat.
No need for arguing and downvoting. I tried helping you and you were firm. If you didn't take my help, it's not my problem.
in fairness to him, you misunderstood something about the way pricing works. you don't disregard a sale just because the same item later sold for something different.
Thank you coolrocks, for pointing this out. What i dislike is someone with absolutely no manners and an ego the size of a planet telling me I should do something or else.
he could have been more polite, and taking time to explain to you would have been a nicer introduction to backpack.tf rather than giving you twenty minutes and 0 help before countering your suggestion. but at the same time, you should have read and understood the rules and guidance about pricing before posting a suggestion.
I would agree with you on that. Done arguing. There's no point. As for Crudcakes, I suggest you learn from this and move on.
I have read the rules but it seemed as if the same hat could not be counted as a sale if sold in 2 months. Clearly I was wrong, but that in no way excuses his behavior.
Backsassed not backassed, as in your were acting sassy to him trying to help out your suggestion. I'm sorry your suggestion got countered but you should have listened to him.
Just want to confirm the sale of 20 Keys - http://imgur.com/a/Yj1At
With the P.Fetti Capo Sale, the Mountain Cap was offered on my Capo+2 Keys which I had accepted rather than a 1:1. Assuming your mini is correct at 18, this puts the sale at 20 (18+2 - offered on - no overpay) - http://imgur.com/a/roiqL
