He's raising it, actually. Hard to tell what was the exact range on the previousy accepted suggestion due to USD inflation but it seems to be somewhere in the ~20 bud ballpark.

Considering I paid ~8 buds for it back in 2013 this is still a rise to me :P but honestly, there's no reason not to lower the hat based on a recent sale for the selfish reason of keeping some small amount of overinflated value in my bp. Seems like the responsible to thing to do!
