Suggestion: Random Craft Hat at 1.22–1.33 ref

These hats are subject to change prices at any moment, if any of these change prices it is not my fault. I am using the same proof as the last suggestion.

I know this suggestion will spark a lot of conversation, whether it be on topic or off topic.

Is this needed? Yes. After seeing plenty of hats in the craft hat blanket disappear from scrap.tf, It's showing we need a rise.

Hm. Shouldn't this always be tied to the lowest common denominator? What's the purpose of having a range? I can see the blanket having sense when establishing the lowest possible price for a craftable hat but a range just makes this unnecessarily confusing IMO, and goes against the blanket's purpose.

Define how it is confusing.

It splits the denominator into three possible range points.

Who in the right mind would have a mental heart attack because a price has '3 range points'?

Everyone i would see who wants to sell a hat normally will sell for 1.33

Anyone who wants to sell quickly will go 1.22

Quicksells at 1.11

No one will ever price a hat as 1.27 provided they aren't being finicky.

And a dislike bomb isn't going to change anything.

You missed my point about the blanket representing the lowest denominator. This having a range makes it muddy and makes the blanket pointless.

Yeah but the thing is, this is supposed to show the exact lowest point a craft hat will sell at. I'm not sure how much more clear I can be in explaining this. :/

This isn't supposed to be "close enough", this is supposed to be laser-targeted, 100% on point.

There is evidence of 'close enough' everywhere. There is no 'laser on point' in this instance of craft hats neither, as they are being sold for 1.22 and 1.33.

This regulates the range, regardless of hat type or whatever.

Well then this should stay at 1.22 or get upped straight to 1.33 when the evidence is there that craft hats are no longer being sold for 1.22. Like I said, a range makes the blanket pointlessly muddy. It should always point to the lowest possible sell point, and by all accounts that is 1.22 at the moment.

Then again, that is just my opinion. I'm eager to see what a mod will say about this.

Fair, but that goes directly against what Polar said on your last suggestion: "if a hat is selling only at 1.22 ref, the craft hat blanket cannot be higher than that."

You are absolutely right. And that's why I closed the previous suggestion. However, in the last day, Regi has shown that all those craft hats listed at 1.22 SHOULD be 1.22-1.33. In fact, all except the ellis are selling easily for 1.44 to scrap.tf. I told him he could suggest 1.22-1.44 if he could find sales on the ellis at 1.44. He could not which is why we're sticking with the low conservative range of 1.22-1.33.

The purpose here is to update all hats currently at 1.22 to 1.22-1.33. The point of the blanket is to increase values across multiple hats as needed. Not to update them all individually first then show that as proof for the blanket. I think that's where Regi's presentation here is confusing. He shouldn't have listed those 1.22 ref hats as proof here.

I saw this coming for weeks :P... There are so many mass 1.22 buyers and 1.33 priced hats, but 1.22 hats left in the blanket that this is definitely needed, and 1.44 is even becoming more common too, but probably doesn't sell enough yet and have enough hats at it to be included for the mean time. I know I don't know if you can from your comments, but http://backpack.tf/stats/Unique/Trash%20Man/Tradable/Craftable can be removed from your 1.22 links. Upvote.
