2 days ago, if this were priced in buds, it would've lost ~15 keys in value from then to now. This shouldn't be priced in buds.

forcing things into keys when they are majority sold for things priced in buds is just bad practice. Also both with any sort of price on outpost are listed in buds.

Ok, that's fine, but I guess you don't realize why buds were ever worth more than a few keys anyway. They were like what refined is for scrap, they're like what a 100 dollar bill is for a 1 dollar bill. Buds are becoming obsolete, just like bills hats. A bud right now is worth what a bill use to be worth a while ago. Bills took their turn first, buds were next, now, it's another promo's turn, most likely resulting in the max going down next. If there was never a limit on how many items can be traded at once a long time ago, none of these promo's would be worth as much as they were.

I know exactly why buds were so big to begin with. Honestly though it doesn't matter whether buds are going down or up. If the item is sold for buds or things priced in buds it should remain priced in buds. If you really think you're going to get 150 keys for your unusual that was priced at 10 buds when buds were 15 keys you're delusional. Almost all of the lower tier hats that were priced in keys long ago are mostly super overvalued on bp.tf now.

Ok, 2 can play that game. Everything that sold for keys, but then was converted into buds due to being worth more than 1 bud are all now extremely underpriced.

Depends the hat really. I'm fine with pricing those things sold for keys in keys and those sold for buds in buds. Those hats sold for keys when buds were high are unlikely to get those same values in keys again but might well get a few extra buds.

Your first sale is entirely in buds, your second sale is 50/50 buds/keys, and your third sale is mostly buds. This should really be valued in buds.
