Hey i love your guys but you were wrong on dis hat.
Sales
#1
Guy before me http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25153131 [he didn't add pure lol] His 4 unusuals= time warp voodoo 7~ + scorchin snaggle 4.6 + scorchin medic cap 4.4 = 15, muffs are 21 buds so the lhomme would have 2 be 6 buds.
#2 I bought it [must be a greedy basturd] for a smoking law 9~, in which he payed his lhomme and 2 buds http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25359679
HIstory so you guys know this is real http://backpack.tf/item/3243824247
Once again with the price manipulation
Also a mini on the law
Im not trying to price manipulate, i admit ive had my faults but im legitemetly trying
Literally all your suggestions previously were price manipulation
Please tell me how, Im actually trying, just tell me my faults in this and I can try to improve it
Just don't even
god no wonder the economy's crashing and people are putting hate in trading. You proffesional traders are real mean, showing no respect to new guys. I mean sure its a noob suggestion but shutting everybody out who's new wint make things better, it will simply decrease the amount of people comming in, until trading is dead all together.
I am by no means a pro, but this is not some honest noob suggestion. Tis is the suggestion of a somewhat experienced price manipulator, although one that has not succeded. Most of the actual "pro" traders are pretty nice.
I am an experienced pro price manipulator ay??? http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21903009#p58427227 dam i never new i was so great u know
Don't even try bro all your previous suggestions were you trying to bring up the price of your own unusuals.
Here's the problem though, 1) respect must be earned, not given, and because of your track record in regards to suggestions, you will have to really work hard in how you present your suggestions since you have been given multiple chances to learn about how suggestions are made properly and yet continue to make the same mistakes. 2) Really doesn't help when you start off your suggestion with "your pricing is wrong" and then proceed to provide invalid proof and continue to use sarcasm (must be a greedy bastard for example); comes off as passive aggressive which makes people from the get go not really willing to give you leadway.
As already posted by madbringer, be sure to thoroughly read that link before attempting another suggestion; a lot of common mistakes are addressed in that guide.
When i said greedy basterd i was refering to myself
That was not brought into question; what was the reason for it being there in the first place was. Like I said already, it comes off as passive aggressive since text is harder to get a better read on the meaning for when you can't see the face of the person who wrote it. So because of that, most users will most likely see it as a jab at how some suggesters are criticized when personal bias for an items pricing is brought up (it happens quite a bit). It's not always the intention of the suggester to do that mind you, but unfortunately after a while of seeing suggestions with no proof have that as the main reason to try and manipulate a price users start getting a bit jaded.
Forgot a few facts his bp at the time so you know its his unusual http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198068165440?time=1426143600
I also forgot that 2 buds plus the lhomme would have to be 7 to be fair
To all the professional voters please put your criticism up so i can try to improve next time!
Quick tip on suggestions for you- never make them again without looking at successful unusual suggestions.
Literally price manipulation.
WHAT IS PRICE MANIPULATION PLEASE TELL ME I DONT KNOW THESE THINGS
You own it and you're trying to raise it with invalid proof.
Look, these guys think you're trying to increase the worth of your item by posting false/misleading information in a pricing suggestion for it.
Read this -> http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-guide-for-unusual-price-suggestions
Do necessary research and math.
Prove them wrong.
madbringer being the hero saving the day :)
Thanks, nice to see someone who's here to help and not just hate
Don't think of them as haters, regulars here just have an allergic reaction to newbies that try to price their own items (rightfully so).
Just get informed before you try it. Post proof, be meticulous. Don't get emotional, people will help you out if you ask for it.
Thank you for explaining his fault and showing him how to fix the issue rather than being a dick about it
Most of the unusual prices you're using are outdated - they're too old to be used. You need to find sales on them to prove their values.
You need to apply overpay (multiply by 0.9) to all non-pure items that are offered on the unusual you're suggesting on. In this case, you'd need to apply overpay to the Smoking Law.
You also need to take the midpoint of prices, not the high end. If the price on the Smoking Law were current, you'd need to take it as 8 (middle of 7-9), not 9, and then go from there with overpay and whatnot.
And lastly, you shouldn't use a trade involving 5 unusuals to price one of relatively small value. Your first sale has a total value of ~40 buds, and you're using it to price an unusual worth about 15% of that. It's very unreliable, because if any of the prices are off even just a little bit, it throws off the whole thing by a lot.
thanks this will be usefull
