>I rounded to 69 because you know why ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ...No.
You don't make silly ranges, especially when you can't even round to 69 in the first place.

The Sale

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24963876 - Sold for $163.24 on SCM.
Key Prices on April 2nd: 2.42~2.43 Average. (Taking 2.425)
(He tried to claim it was 2.36, which seems to be a bit low to the day's average. Keys' average hasn't been under 2.40 since March 30th.)
Before Taxes: 141.96* / 2.425 = 58.5 > 59 Keys
After Taxes: 163.24 / 2.425 = 67.3 > 67 Keys.

(Basing it from the 141.96, since that's what the original stated in Leo's previous suggestion and the Euro is currently unstable.)

59 to 67? Let's squeeze it to a more comfortable number of 60 to 65.
And next time you counter, Check everything is actually correct :).
Countered you back.
I actually did. By the way, you may not want to convert from the Euro currency at the moment.
http://www.xe.com/currencycharts/?from=EUR&to=USD&view=1W
Alright, Found a converter for the date of april 2nd (time of the sale).
You may want to close this now.
I'm taking the sale directly with SCM rather than a currency converter. I only showed that to prove the Euro was bonkers.
Hm i did use your key values, And where do you see the Brim was sold for 163.24$?
http://i.gyazo.com/c27dc85c62026a102d2977ae428d1965.png
139.44 Euros = 148.6567
148.6567 seller gets
170.94 buyer pays.
You are using the worth of euros > dollars at the moment, Not at the time of the sale.
http://gyazo.com/2cb016097b9d9cff48fc9a8c3018324b - Wierd how you told me not to use today's prices and yet you are doing it?
http://i.gyazo.com/d28aefb1c4c16312f760a4b837007c15.png - Today's price have been the same since March 30th. This is from April 2nd. Maybe if you actually bothered to read and not ignoring everything I've been saying, then you would've checked this yourself. I'm actually keeping strict to dollars, because the Euros have been going down as of late and it is hard to pinpoint an exact price. That's why I put the sale amount in the left side and the right side gave me the price the seller had.
I'm American. My computer is set to U.S. Dollars. I'm currently in my sociology class, taking notes. I'm literally not going to sit here and argue with you anymore. You're really upset over the fact that I countered you, because you thought it was silly to price it for 60 - 69 keys and refused to take my advice. You only took my advice after I countered you.
You can counter me and I don't have a problem with that. I'm only trying to put an accurate range, not round to 69 because lennyface.jpg
I'm not talking about keys prices... I'm talking about euros > dollars prices... OBVIOUSLY.
I used your key prices and YOUR euros > dollars prices are wrong, I think you're the one that should bother to read what i said, Thanks.
As I stated for the fiftieth time, Euros are unstable. I translated the dollar amount, stated in your suggestion, back through SCM's fees. That's how I got the second amount and I used the average key amount that day.
Yes i understand you used 141.79 (my amount in the old suggestion) but i found out it was incorrect and therefor made a re-suggestion, 130.44 euros = 139.1134$
Yea sorry i didn't notice the calculator is calculating today's value but also shows 2nd april value, Missunderstood it.
Closed my suggestion.
Do you mind now?
Or are you just gonna live this up and pretend you're afk or something to annoy me, I've proven my point.
Cross-post from your suggestion, cause it supports his:
http://i.imgur.com/aN8gY2V.png
130.44 x 1.08707 (value from your conversion link on 2nd april) = 141.79
Thanks. I don't know how he's getting the amount he's saying.
He's using the calculator on the site but I think it's using today's exchange rate not 2nd April's
Yeah. The exact time would be 141.0252. Even if there a slight difference, my range would fit accurately in the basis of rounding.
Other suggester doesn't know what he's talking about, upvote. ^_^
Also just saying you can't just round it to 65 as i couldn't round it to 69, Same thing.
I guess you can round 59 to 60 but that's different.
The reason why I round is I compressed the range. I added a small bit onto the bottom end, while deducting from the top.
With even some slight difference, it helps my range. Anywho, I'm not going to bother with conversation anymore. We're just running around in circles.
>Let's squeeze it to a more comfortable number of 60 to 65.
Yeah... No.
58 to 67 and 60 to 65 are the same value.
Backpack.tf uses the MOST accurate values AS POSSIBLE.
This sale is pure sale, You counted it at 59-67 and therefor IT SHOULD BE 59-67.
You cant keep rounding all the time, 58.5 > 59 > 60
67.3 > 67 > 65
Still. I made it a solid range and not some random scatter of numbers. And this is my last reply. I'm done with this conversation, because I'm wasting time here trying to convince you of rounding. It took someone else to say that you weren't right.
Want me to be specific? Here you go. According to the website and translating from Euros...
130.44 * 1.08115 = 141.025 / 2.425 = 58.2 > 58
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -162.18 / 2.425 = 66.9 > 67.
Range is 58 to 67. I can conclude I can squeeze the range to 60 to 65 for a tighter range.
Rounding is intended to give an indication of the precision of values. When the sale is in pure, we know the exact value and it should be reported as is.
