I just bought mine for a Death at Dusk Deep Cover Operator + 160 refined

Valued at 58 buds*6 keys each = 348 keys + 160 ref/20 ref each = 356 keys total

No high tier engineer unusual ever sells that fast (trust me, of all people I should know, I've dealt with 15 unusual Pencil Pushers) unless it's for a really low price. I mean, he sold it for the second offer he got within two days.

I know there haven't been any other recent usable sales, but this really seems like an outlier to me.

I'd be inclined to agree, however the fact that I bought a burning one for slightly less than this after the guy had it up for over a month seems to me to say this is a reasonable price. Also if it's any help, the current owner of the scorching pencil on bp.tf classifieds was willing to take that DCO and 5 earbuds pure when they were ~10 keys, but I turned him down. Just asked again and the response was the same: http://i.imgur.com/88R9nM7.png.

I wanted to do his pencil for the DCO and ~3 buds/30 keys worth but he wasn't willing.

Also keep in mind that was when this hat was 1 of 3 as opposed to burning's 1 of 4.

...it still bothers me how much more Brainiacs go for though :P But yeah, with this info the proof should be good enough probably.

As a previous Moon brainiac owner, it's definohtly wonky. I still feel like the pencil should be higher, at least on the hats that are rarer/god-tier, but Brainiacs have been around so long their value is entrenched as the go-to good unusual engie misc.

(also dont worry I'm noht really collecting engie miscs x3)
