Trade #1: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25606132 (April 10th, 2015)

Trade owner is attempting to sell his Stormy Storm Salty Dog for 32 keys, but ends up trading it for a Searing Plasma Salty Dog after offering to trade for it on this trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25592317. The user probably added a few more items with the Stormy Storm Salty Dog for the Searing Plasma version, but I cannot discern a noticeable difference except for the Storm Storm Salty Dog owner adding an additional Terror-Watt Little Buddy: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,3677512553,612,5 which seems a little too much overpay, however, it may be plausible.

Regardless of this, though, the Stormy Storm Salty Dog was used, in part to overpay a 32 key buyout and should be taken at slightly less since it is more than likely items were added on the user’s part. I would value the trade around roughly 30-31 keys.

Trade owner is the previous owner of the Searing Plasma Salty Dog in the trade above, and is attempting to sell his Stormy Storm Salty Dog for 31 keys. The item has not sold yet, and the trade has been closed, but this shows another buyout. However, this trade shows another buyout, and one that may help to show the value of the previous trade was around 30-31 keys.

Unusual overpay means the sale can only be counted as high as 27 keys given the buyout.

Trade owner is attempting to trade his Stormy Storm Salty Dog for a Stormy Storm Sergeant’s Drill Hat. Since the user was trying to use his Salty Dog for unusual overpay for the Drill Hat, the value of the Salty Dog should be valued at the average value of the Sergeant’s Drill Hat since it would be reverse overpay which is taken as 100% value instead of 90%.

The value for this attempted trade should be ~29.5 keys if using the outdated price, however, since there are currently 2 buyouts on Outpost for less, I would value this trade closer to 26-27 keys in value.

Conclusion: High-ends come from the first two trades, and low-ends come from the last two. I am aware one trade is a bit outdated, but only serves as supporting evidence. Let me know if I am missing any sales as there are none currently for sale on Outpost, so its a bit hard to dig around for evidence. I'll gladly close this if new sales come up which affect the validity of this suggestion.
