Suggestion: Mann Co. Supply Crate Key at 17 ref

The proof you supplied still fits within the current range... not really seeing the point in this suggestion other than you wanting to "save the keys" like they need to be rescued otherwise people will stop wanting them?

16.66 is a quickbuy/quicksell price and should not remain in the range, hence why it's being removed.

What about scrap.tf selling at 16.66? I guess that counts as something

they are always out of stock, but also buy constantly. If you watch for 10 minutes you can see keys sold to bots and bought in quick succession. I use scrap.tf ALOT, so its common to see them sold and bought, with consistent observation this could be easily spotted.

I think the market is slowly stabilizing around ~17 refined per key. I feel as though, after what just happened, after this raise no one will pay any more for keys. or atleast I hope

Nah it'll rise up again like it always does. The scheme is always the same ^^. In a few month, it'll drop for 3 weeks straight to about 75% of its original value and then it'll go back again, then in another few months it'll drop for 3 weeks straight to about 70-66% of its orginial value, and so on and so forth

Because voting has more purpose than simply passing a suggestion. It encourages the rest to partake in the suggestion and reflects the community's stance, which is crucial.

There is a specific proof you need to lower or raise the prices. Buyers to raise, Sellers to lower.

Most of those trades with "shit ton" of proof usually do it the other way around, and of course, you will always find more proof when it comes to lowballers and highballers which is why it's not regarded as proof.

Well it seems you don't get it either. Both buyers and sellers could lower and raise prices by your logic.

What you need to change prices are sold items. And this post is just providing buyers posts, which is dumb.

Buyers and sales are equally valid to raise the price of an item, but only sales can drop the price.

As I said in my forum post, bp developers really need to implement an automated system to automatically cancel high demand / high supply items' listing after x amount of time (though Polar seemed to have misread it).

On topic, anything on the classifieds that is actually selling at 17.00 ref and not going offline within 10 minutes / never accepting offers/requests quicksells. Buyers prove it needs a rise. Bots are buying over >16.66 ref. Keys are back on an upswing.

Look on outpost, there are a heck lot of people willing to pay less than 15 for keys. Hilarious, I know. Does it mean keys should lower? Nope. But in the rare case you do *sarcasm*, then I recommend you do some research on how the economy actually works.

You kidding? It's paradise! Rare stranges used to be "currency" and now they're being dropped to decent prices for people that actually plan to use them, like myself, instead of collecting dust in their backpacks.

The problem is that refined is so useless nowadays nobody wants to even buy it and which is why it merely costs 12 cents when it used to be like 50-80 cents back then. People aren't crafting as much as they used to and hats are no longer considered valuable.

Overall it does matter. Like if an unusual is 100 keys, that's 100x17 = 1700, and if it went up a reclaimed, it'd be a 33 ref price difference.
