I think he spoke in general, as no where he specifies it being buyers only within what he says. And further on he says:

"This is similar to how sellers at bp.tf price - xx scrap are not valid proof"

But if you say you took the seller from previous suggestion and since no one talked about it in the previous suggestion I guess it's no big deal.

also kinda hard to believe it actually sold for 3 if the new owner's selling for 2

+ my seller cant sell at 1.66 for 6 days

Possible reasons for the 1.66 not selling:

1- No trade offer link set;

2- Like mentioned in my previous comment, very horribly bumped (even provided pic displaying that);

And about the 3 ref seller yeah it's hard to believe, but happened. Outlier though.

There are also buyers at 1.66, so I would consider that seller an outlier.
