Sales: 49, 42, 36, 30,
Really hard to determine an outlier hear, differences are almost the same.
B/o of 48: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24800964
Cutting off the 49 sale.
i'd rather go with 36-48
but eh
Don't really want to have a high end based on b/o
the 49 sale (or if you are THAT uncomfortable using it,the b/o)
it's pointess to render it an outlier. it's close enough to the other sales to use it. and as it included an aussie it is more likely to be a realistical reflection of the value.
every trade infact,is a more realistical reflection as it involved an aussie (expect the billy sale heh)
also your cutting of logic.
lets say there are sales at 70 and 101
and a b/o at 100
you'd put 70 flat lol ?
His buyout is 3 months old and under that sale. His b/o is current, so it has more weight than any sale and is thus more realistic to cut off 49 than to keep it. If 48 can't sell, why should 49 be even close to the range? The seller has been open for 3 months, that amount of time heavily implies their buyout is overpriced.
Its more like this: There are 3 sales below it, and one seller now who can't sell below it for for an extended amount of time versus a single sale above, of course I would consider it an outlier.
wait what
you say "if 48 can't sell"
but it obviously did sell for 49
it happens
48 still can't sell for 3 months though and for the last time, is currently open. This shows in the current market, 49 is unreasonable. As you know, bp.tf prices are a reflection of current prices.
if the 48 one was offered the scatter,he'd accept
and then it would be a valid sale ?
but now as someone else accepted it,and not him it's not ?
so if the b/o was 50 you'd be okay with using the 49 sale ? lol
Thats not what happened though, the 48 key seller was clearly available at the time. I don't feel like arguing anymore. You know high end buyouts don't happen for unusuals. If ~48 was reasonable both would have sold if you want to go by theoretical situations.
sure. mind if i counter you ?
