This suggestion was marked as bad evidence and closed by Puddilicious.

There should always be enough evidence to back up the new proposed value. However, it appears that the evidence is not strong enough, or cherry-picked in a way that does not represent the actual market value of the item. Therefore, this suggestion has been closed.

    Need buyers for 1 scrap?

forgot to add, doing that right now

nope, you only need solds / buyers, buyers isnt optional if there are solds

but this sgt is invalid anyway

          Ah,I see.

          Sorry for my ignorance.

        https://scrap.tf/

OMG IM GONNA BE SO RICH IM GONNA BUY 47498645 DEADRINGER FOR 0.05 AND SEL LFOR 0.11 YEAH I AM RICH M8S!!!!!

I agree. "Rules" are meant to be based in common sense and what actually happens in item trading. We have stated this multiple times in weapon suggestions. Very very rarely do you get anyone selling a weapon for 0.05 ref. Everyone sells weapons for 0.11 ref. This does not mean that most weapons are now worth 0.11 ref or 0.05-0.11 ref.

There are certain measures you can take to see whether a weapon is actually worth more than other weapons.

          (1) Always a supply of buyers on the market willing to pay a scrap for it. Look at rocket and sticky jumpers. You will almost ALWAYS find active buyers and often multiple active buyers for a scrap.

          (2) Supply on scrap banking sites. You will rarely find more than 10 rocket / sticky jumpers on scrap.tf. Look at weapons like the BASE jumper. Supply is 0-5.

          (3) How easy it is to sell the weapon for a scrap. If the weapon is legitimately worth a scrap, it should sell easily for a scrap. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24890043 - look at a trade like this. The weapons actually selling for a scrap are the BASE jumper. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25041528 - or the loose cannon and other newer weapons. These are selling much faster than any of the other weapons.

The reserve shooter does not appear to be "special" by any criteria I can imagine. Readily available on scrap banking sites and takes a solid while to sell

Sale is too old and any weapon can be sold for 1 scrap. That doesn't mean all the weapons should be 0,05-0,11...

what do you mean "too old"

the sale is nearly a month old, it's a little too long already

why did you counter yourself with 0.05 buyers?

                ?????????///

Did you get what i said or did you derp out for a moment?

also, read my 2nd sentence, i edited it.

i countered myself because i suggested the price to be either 0.5 scrap AND 0.11 ref as the high value

yeah erm... it's kinda like you've just committed suggestion suicide.

i made that one up, but you just destroyed your own suggestion, so a mod will close this later

He's new, like me, he does not know what to do.

There's rarely any of these at scrap.tf, but 1 sale isn't enough.

I don't get it, you just linked me to Shadow's profile

                  ShadowMan's profile.

                  ...

                  And?

                    Get out of here stolkir

Why do you link my profile oh

                      *cough stalker

                        lol .................

I guess i know why did you link my profile

But if you think suggestion FOR A COMMON WEAPON will pass with ONE SALE - you're wrong, deadly wrong.

i already said in the desc. that there wasn't anymore solds that i can find

Then don't suggest. Sounds harsh but true.

Then it clearly isn't in need of a raise if you can't find more sales

i kinda get the feeling he's like the other guy (peace rack) we argued with before except he's just ignorant >_<

What you have right here is called an "outlier".

If you cannot find any more sales then this shouldn't need a raise.

                                  Sorry, downvote from me.

This is not.a constructive criticism please do not spam the forum

Why is yours any more constructive than mine?

                          explained ^^^

                          1 sale at a scrap isn't enough

Lots of weapons go for 1 scrap, just that some people want them more.

                              owns 1. Manipulation obv

There's a difference between manipulation and simply not knowing how to make a proper suggestion.

                                  Pretty sure its a joke...

                                  ...LOL

sorry but i don't manipulate prices with something i own

I was joking because this whole suggestion is a joke

And what proof do you have of being it a "joke"

Your .11 sale is a scrapbank. Sort of like an outlier, and scrap.tf sells at .05

i don't use scrap.tf and whatever it is the prices are severely outdated

                                that is called scrapbanking

                                  https://scrap.tf/

wait... like this is happenning right now... :O

                                      Listing for normal wep? Why?

                                      >Just creates a collector's

                                      >possible raise.

                                      ;-;

Scrap banking is so common there is no real point of raising this.

Previous reserve shooter with reason for close:

Wow first time i see suggestion for an old weapon raising than dropping, especially when it's an achievement item as well. Although you need more solds than sellers to raise the price.

                                          are.you.kidding.me.

                                            LOL. Just LOL.

It's called Scrap banking dude. The same goes on with every normal weapon.

If this passes scrap bankers everywhere are going to throw this guy a party. Downvoting because this is not how unique weapons work

                                                      Why this is still opened?
